5月29日に発表された最新の消費動向調査によると、5月の消費者態度指数（調査対象：2人以上の世帯）は季節調整済で36.2ポイントとなり、前月比2.1ポイントの大幅な低下となりました。前月比では2か月連続の低下となりました。
同日発表されたドイツの5月の消費者物価指数は前年同月比2.4％上昇となり、前月の2.2％から上昇が加速しました。

According to the latest consumer confidence survey for Japan, which was announced on May 29th 2024, the consumer confidence index for May 2024 (survey target : households of two or more person) was a seasonally adjusted of 36.2 points, a fell by 2.1 points from the previous month significantly. It fell for two consecutive months compared with previous month.
The consumer price index for Germany in May 2024, which was announced on the same day, rose by 2.4 percent from the same month a year earlier. It accelerated from 2.2 percent of the previous month.
