5月21日に発表された2026年4月の貿易収支は、季節調整済で2,365億円の黒字となり、前月比150.1%増加しました。

同日に発表された2026年3月の機械受注の民需（船舶および電力会社からの受注を除く）は、季節調整済で前月比9.4%減少しました。2026年2月の13.6%増加から減少に転じました。

同日に発表されたユーロ圏の2026年5月の消費者信頼感指数の速報値は、マイナス19.0ポイントとなり、前月比1.6ポイント上昇しました。

同日に発表された米国の2026年4月の民間住宅着工件数は、季節調整済の年率換算で146万5000戸となり、前月比2.8%減少しました。

The trade balance of Japan in April 2026, released on 21st May 2026, was JPY236.5 billion surplus on a seasonally adjusted basis, an increased by 150.1 percent from the previous month.

The seasonally adjusted machinery orders from domestic private-sector ( excluding orders from ships and electric power companies) in the Japan in March 2026, released on the same day, decreased by 9.4 percent from the previous month. It reversed and decreased from 13.6 percent increased in February 2026.

Preliminary estimate of the consumer confidence indicator for euro area in May 2026, released on the same day, was minus 19.0 points, an increased by 1.6 points from the previous month.

Privately-owned housing starts in U.S. in April 2026, released on the same day, were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1,465,000 units, a decreased by 2.8 percent from the previous month.

FOMCの議事要旨＿Minutes of the Federal Open Market Committee

5月20日に公表された2026年4月28日～29日に開催されたFOMCの議事要旨には、「委員らは、雇用増加が平均的に低水準にとどまり、ここ数カ月の失業率もほとんど変化していないことに留意した。委員らは、インフレ率が上昇していること、これは世界的なエネルギー価格の最近の上昇を部分的に反映していること、そして中東情勢の展開が経済見通しに対する高いレベルの不確実性につながっていることに同意した。委員らは、委員会がその二重の責務の両側のリスクに注意を払っていることに同意した。」と記されており、「委員らは、会合後の声明において、最大限の雇用を支援することと、インフレ率を委員会の目標である2％に戻すことの両方に対する強いコミットメントを表明すべきであることに合意した。」とも記されている。

Minutes of the Federal Open Market Committee on 28th-29th April 2026, released on 20th May 2026, said "They noted that job gains had remained low, on average, and that the unemployment rate had been little changed in recent months. Members agreed that inflation was elevated, in part reflecting the recent increase in global energy prices, and that developments in the Middle East were contributing to a high level of uncertainty about the economic outlook. Members concurred that the Committee was attentive to the risks to both sides of its dual mandate.", and "Members agreed that the postmeeting statement should affirm their strong commitment both to supporting maximum employment and to returning inflation to the Committee's 2 percent objective."

5月19日に発表された2026年第1四半期の実質GDPの速報値は、前期比0.5%増となり、2025年第4四半期の0.2%増から加速しました。

同日に発表された2026年2月の第三次産業活動指数は、季節調整済で105.7ポイント（2019-20年＝100）となり、前月比0.2%減となりました。前月比では2ヶ月連続の減少となりました。

同日に発表されたドイツの2026年4月の工業製品の生産者物価指数は、前年同月比0.2%低下したものの、前月比では2.5%上昇しました。なお、2026年3月のエネルギー価格は前年同月比3.2%下落しましたが、2026年2月と比較すると7.5%上昇しています。

同日に発表されたユーロ圏の2026年3月の財の貿易収支の速報値は、78億ユーロの黒字となり、2025年3月の341億ユーロの黒字から減少した。

同日に発表された米国の2026年4月の住宅販売保留指数の速報値は、季節調整済で74.8ポイントとなり、前月比1.4%上昇しました。

First preliminary estimate of the real GDP of Japan in 1st quarter of 2026, released on 19th May 2026, increased by 0.5 percent from the previous quarter, up from 0.2 percent in 4th quarter of 2025.

The index of tertiary industry activity for Japan in February 2026, released on the same day, was 105.7 points (2019-20=100) on a seasonally adjusted basis, a fell by 0.2 percent from the previous month. Compared with the previous month, it fell for two consecutive months. 

The producer prices of industrial products for Germany in April 2026, released on the same day, decreased by 0.2 percent from the same month a year earlier, however increased by 2.5 percent from the previous month, As a side note, energy prices in March 2026 were down 3.2 percent from the same month a year earlier, however, energy was 7.5 percent more expensive compared with February 2026.

The 1st estimates of trade balance for goods in euro area in March 2026, released on the same day, was EUR7.8 billion surplus, down from EUR34.1 billion surplus in March 2025.

Preliminary estimate of the Pending Home Sales Index for U.S. in April 2026, released on the same day, was 74.8 points on a seasonally adjusted basis, an increased by 1.4 percent from the previous month.

中国の小売売上高、中国の鉱工業生産＿The total retail sales in China, The industrial production in China

5月18日に発表された中国の2026年4月の消費者向けの財の小売売上高は、前年同月比0.2%増となり、2026年3月の1.7%増から減速しました。

同日に発表された中国の2026年3月の鉱工業生産は、前年同月比4.1%増となり、2026年3月の5.7%増から減速しました。

マネーストック、米国の小売売上高＿The money stock in Japan, The retail sales in U.S.

5月14日に公表された、2026年4月のマネーストックM2の平均残高は1295兆円で、前月比2.3%増加し、2026年3月の2.0%増から加速しました。

同日に公表された、米国の2026年4月の小売・外食売上高の速報値は、季節変動、祝日・営業日数調整後で7571億ドルとなり、前月比0.5%増加しました。

5月13日に発表された、2026年3月の経常収支の速報値は、季節調整済で3兆9千億円の黒字となり、前月比1兆1千9百億円増加した。

同日に発表された最新の景気ウォッチャー調査によると、2026年4月の現状判断ＤＩは、季節調整済で40.8となり、前月比1.4ポイント低下しました。2022年2月以来の最低水準でした。

同日に発表されたフランスの2026年4月の消費者物価指数は102.25ポイント（2025年＝100）で、2026年2月の0.6%上昇に続き、前月比1.0%の大幅な上昇となりました。

同日に発表されたユーロ圏の2026年第1四半期の季節調整済のGDPは、前期比0.1%増加しました。

同日に発表されたユーロ圏の2026年3月の季節調整済の鉱工業生産指数は、前月比で0.2%増加しましたが、前年同月比では2.1%減少しました。

同日に発表された米国の2026年4月の卸売物価指数は、前月比1.4%上昇し、2026年3月の0.7%上昇から上昇幅が拡大しました。

Preliminary estimate of the current account balance of Japan in March 2026, released on 13th May 2026, was JPY3.90 trillion surplus on a seasonally adjusted basis, an increased by JPY1.19 trillion from the previous month.

According to the latest economy watchers survey in the Japan, released on the same day, the DI for current economic conditions in April 2026 was 40.8 percent on a seasonally adjusted basis, a fell by 1.4 percentage points from the previous month. It was the lowest level since February 2022.

The consumer price index for France in April 2026, released on the same day, was 102.25 points (2025＝100), an significantly increased by 1.0 percent over one month, after 0.6 percent increased in February 2026.

The seasonally adjusted GDP in the euro area in the 1st quarter of 2026, released on the same day, increased by 0.1 percent compared with the previous quarter.

The seasonally adjusted industrial production for euro area in March 2026, released on the same day, increased by 0.2 percent compared with February 2026,but decreased by 2.1 percent compared with March 2025.

The producer price index for U.S. in April 2026, released on the same day, increased by 1.4 percent  over one month, up from 0.7 percent increased in March 2026.
