3月4日に発表された最新の消費動向調査によると、2026年2月の消費者態度指数（調査対象：二人以上の世帯）は季節調整済みで40.0ポイントとなり、前月比2.1ポイントの大幅上昇となりました。
同日発表されたユーロ圏の2026年1月の工業製品の生産者物価指数は、前月比0.7%上昇、前年同月比2.1%低下となりました。
同日発表された米国の2026年2月のISM非製造業PMIは56.1、前月比2.3ポイント上昇し、2022年11月以来の高水準を記録しました。
同日発表された最新のベージュブックは、「経済活動全体は、12の連邦準備銀行管轄地区のうち7地区で小幅から緩やかなペースで増加した一方、横ばいまたは減少を報告した地区は、前期の4地区から当期は5地区に増加した。消費者支出は全体としてわずかに増加したものの、2地区では引き続き減少しており、多くの地区が経済の不確実性、価格感応度の高まり、低所得層の消費者の支出抑制によって売上が抑制されたと指摘している」と述べています。なお、本レポートは2026年2月23日までに収集された情報に基づいています。

According to the latest consumer confidence survey for Japan, which was announced on 4th March 2026, the consumer confidence index in February 2026 (survey target : households of two or more person) was 40.0 points on a seasonally adjusted basis, a rose by 2.1 points from the previous month significantly.
The industrial producer prices in the euro area in January 2026, released on the same day, increased by 0.7 percent from the previous month but decreased by 2.1 percent from the same month a year earlier.
The ISM services PMI for U.S. in February 2026, released on the same day, was 56.1 percent, an increased by 2.3 percentage points from the previous month and recorded the highest level since November 2022.
The latest Beige Book, released on the same day, said "Overall economic activity increased at a slight to moderate pace in seven of the twelve Federal Reserve Districts, while the number of Districts reporting flat or declining activity increased from four in the prior period to five in the current period. Although consumer spending increased slightly on balance, two Districts reported ongoing declines, and many noted that sales were dampened by economic uncertainty, increased price sensitivity, and lower-income consumers pulling back on spending".
