10月8日に公表された2026年8月の季節調整済の経常収支は、前月比4,560億円増の2兆9,790億円の黒字となりました。

同日に公表された日本の最新の景気ウォッチャー調査によると、2026年9月の現状判断DI（季節調整値）は前月比0.6ポイント上昇の47.0％となりました。内訳を見ると、家計動向関連DIは改善した一方、企業動向関連DIは悪化しました。

同日に公表された欧州中央銀行の2026年9月9・10日の政策理事会の議事要旨には、「中東情勢の緊迫化や、ロシアによるウクライナへの不当な戦争をめぐる最近の動向がエネルギー価格をさらに押し上げたため、インフレ見通しが悪化したという点について、理事会メンバーの多くが合意した。9月のスタッフ予測によれば、インフレ率は当初の予想よりも長期間にわたり目標を上回る水準で推移する見通しである」と記されています。

同日に公表された米国の2026年8月の月次卸売統計によると、在庫売上高比率は1.18となり、2026年7月の1.19から低下しました。

Preliminary estimate of the seasonally adjusted current account balance of Japan in August 2026, released on 8th October 2026, was JPY2979 billion surplus, an increased by JPY456 billion from the previous month.

According to the latest economy watchers survey in the Japan, released on the same day, the DI for current economic conditions in September 2026 was 47.0 percent on a seasonally adjusted basis, a rose by 0.6 percentage points from the previous month. Looking at the breakdown of it, the household activity-related DI showed improvement but the corporate activity-related DI showed deterioration.

Minutes of the monetary policy meeting of the Governing Council of the European Central Bank on 9-10 September 2026, released on the same day, said "Members largely agreed that the inflation outlook had deteriorated, as the conflict in the Middle East and recent developments in Russia’s unjustified war against Ukraine had pushed the path of energy prices up further. According to the September staff projections, inflation would remain above target for longer than previously expected."

According to the report of monthly wholesale trade in U.S. in August 2026, released on the same day, inventories/sales ratio was 1.18, down from 1.19 in July 2026.

10月7日に公表された最新の毎月勤労統計調査によると、2026年8月の1人当たりの現金給与総額の速報値は31万1千円となり、前年同月比で3.8％増加しました。

同日に公表された2026年7月の景気動向一致指数の速報値は118.7（2020年＝100）となり、前月から1.9ポイント低下しました。最も寄与した要因は、鉱工業出荷指数でした。

同日、インド準備銀行は、流動性調整ファシリティ（LAF）に基づく政策レポ金利を25ベーシスポイント（bps）引き上げ、5.50％とすることを決定しました。

同日に公表されたドイツの2026年8月の季節・カレンダー調整済みの鉱工業生産指数は92.3（2021年＝100）となり、前月から2.0％上昇しました。

同日に公表された2026年9月15日・16日開催のFOMCの議事要旨には、次のように記されています。「参加者は概して、インフレ率が高止まりする一方で、労働市場は完全雇用に近い状態にあり、一部に強含みの兆候が見られること、そして経済活動が堅調なペースで拡大していることを強調した。さらに、ほぼすべての参加者が、インフレのリスクは上振れする傾向にあるものの、労働市場に関するリスクは低下し、現在は概ね均衡していると評価した。」

According to the latest monthly labour survey for Japan, released on 7th October 2026, preliminary estimate of the total cash earnings before deducting income tax in August 2026 was JPY311 thousand per person, an increased by 3.8 percent from the same month a year earlier.  

Preliminary estimate of the coincident index for business conditions for Japan in July 2026, released on the same day, was 118.7 points (2020=100), a decreased by 1.9 points from the previous month. The factor with the highest contribution was the index of producer's shipments.

On the same day,  Reserve Bank of India decided to increase the policy repo rate under the liquidity adjustment facility (LAF) by 25 bps to 5.50 per cent. 

The seasonally and calendar adjusted index of  industrial production for Germany in August 2026, released on the same day, was 92.3 points (2021=100), a rose by 2.0 percent from the previous month.

Minutes of the Federal Open Market Committee, September 15-16, 2026, released on the same day, said "Participants generally emphasized that inflation remained elevated while the labor market appeared to be near full employment, with some signs of strengthening, and that economic activity was expanding at a solid pace. Furthermore, almost all participants assessed that, while inflation risks were tilted to the upside, risks to the labor market had diminished and were now broadly balanced. "

フランスの鉱工業生産、ユーロ圏の小売販売高、米国の貿易収支＿The industrial production for France, The retail trade volume in euro area, The trade balance of U.S.

 10月6日に発表されたフランスの2026年8月の鉱工業生産指数は102.3（2021年＝100）となり、前月比で0.3％低下しました。ただし、「その他の工業製品」（金属、化学、医薬品など）の生産は回復し（前月のマイナス1.2％からプラス1.2％へ）、電気・電子・コンピュータ機器の生産も小幅ながら増加に転じました（前月のマイナス1.6％からプラス0.9％へ）。

 

同日に発表されたユーロ圏の2026年8月の季節調整済の小売販売高は、前月比で0.1％増加しました。7月の0.6％減から増加へと転じました。

 

同日に発表された米国の2026年8月の貿易収支は1,056億ドルの赤字となり、前月比で13.7％拡大しました。前月と比較すると、輸出は1.4％増加し、輸入は4.3％増加しました。

The index of industrial production for France in August 2026, released on 6th October 2026, was 102.3 points (2021=100), a fell by 0.3 percent from the previous month. Although, output bounced back in the manufacture of “other industrial products” (metallurgy, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, etc.) (+1.2% after ‑1.2%) and more modestly in the manufacture of electrical, electronic and computer equipment (+0.9% after -1.6%).

 

The seasonally adjusted retail trade volume in euro area in August 2026, released on the same day, increased by 0.1 percent from the previous month. It reversed and increased from 0.6 percent decreased in July 2026.

 

The trade balance of U.S. in August 2026, released on the same day, was US$105.6 billion deficit, an increased by 13.7 percent from the previous month. Compared with the previous month, exports increased by 1.4 percent and imports increased by 4.3 percent.

10月5日に発表された最新の消費動向調査によると、2026年9月の消費者態度指数（調査対象：2人以上の世帯）は季節調整値で35.4ポイントとなり、前月から0.1ポイント低下しました。

同日に発表されたユーロ圏の2026年8月の鉱工業の生産者物価指数は134.3ポイント（2021年＝100）となり、前月比で1.9％上昇しました。2026年7月の1.6％から加速しました。

同日に発表された米国の2026年9月のISM非製造業PMIは54.5となり、前月から0.1ポイント低下しました。しかし、12カ月移動平均である52.3は上回っています。

According to the latest consumer confidence survey for Japan, released on 5th October 2026, the consumer confidence index in September 2026 (survey target : households of two or more person) was 35.4 points on a seasonally adjusted basis, a fell by 0.1 points from the previous month. 

The index of industrial producer price for euro area in August 2026, released on the same day, was 134.3 points (2021=100), an increased  by 1.9 percent from the previous month, up from 1.6 percent in July 2026.

The ISM services PMI for U.S. in September 2026, released on the same day, was 54.5 percent, a fell by 0.1 percentage points from the previous month. However, it exceeded the 12-month moving average of 52.3 percent.

日銀短観、米国のISM製造業PMI＿The BOJ Tankan, The ISM manufacturing PMI for U.S.

10月1日に公表された2026年第3四半期の日銀短観によると、製造業では全企業規模で業況判断が前回調査から改善しました。一方、非製造業では、大企業および中堅企業の業況判断が悪化しました。

同日に発表された米国の2026年9月のISM製造業PMIは54.5となり、前月から0.1ポイント低下しました。ただ、過去12カ月の平均値である52.3を依然上回っています。

According to the BOJ Tankan for 3rd quarter of 2026, released  on 1st October 2026,  the business conditions for present for for all size  enterprises for manufacturing  improved compared to the previous survey. But business conditions for large and medium size enterprises for nonmanufacturing deteriorated.

The ISM manufacturing PMI for U.S. in September 2026, released on the same day, was 54.5 percent, a fell by 0.1 percentage points from the previous month. It is still above the average of 52.3 points over the past 12 months.

9月30日に発表された2026年8月の季節調整済の小売業販売額は、前月比1.2％減となりました。

同日に発表された2026年8月の鉱工業生産指数の速報値は、季節調整値で102.6ポイントとなり、前月比1.7％低下しました。

同日に発表された中国の2026年9月の製造業PMIは50.1となり、前月から0.3ポイント上昇しました。

同日に発表されたフランスの2026年9月の消費者物価指数の速報値は前年同月比3.0％上昇し、8月の2.4％から伸びが拡大しました。フランス国立統計経済研究所は、「石油製品やガスの価格に牽引され、エネルギー価格の上昇が再び加速する見通しだ」と述べています。

同日に発表されたフランスの2026年8月の鉱工業生産者物価指数の速報値は前年同月比4.8％上昇し、7月の3.5％から上昇率が拡大しました。

同日に発表された米国の個人所得・支出に関する最新統計によると、2026年8月は前月比で個人所得が0.2％増加し、個人消費支出が0.9％増加しました。

The seasonally adjusted retail sales value in Japan in August 2026, released on 30th September 2026, decreased by 1.2 percent from the previous month.

Preliminary estimate of the industrial production index for Japan in August 2026, released on the same day, was 102.6 points on a seasonally adjusted basis, a fell by 1.7 percent from the previous month.

The manufacturing PMI for China in September 2026, released on the same day, was 50.1 percent, a rose by 0.3 percentage points from the previous month.

Preliminary estimate of the consumer price index for France in September 2026, released on the same day, increased by 3.0 percent year on year, up from 2.4 percent in August 2026. Insee said  "The prices of energy should accelerate again, driven by those of petroleum products and gas." 

Preliminary estimate of the industrial producer price index for France in August 2026, released on the same day,  increased by 4.8 percent year on year, up from 3.5 percent in August 2026.

According to the  latest statistics on personal income and outlays in U.S., released on the same day, in August 2026, compared with the previous month, the personal income increased by 0.2 percent and the personal consumption expenditures increased by 0.9 percent.
