同日発表された米国の4月の新設住宅着工戸数は季節調整済の年率136万戸となりました。 前月比では5.7％増加しましたが、前年同月比では0.6％減少しました。
同日発表された米国の4月の鉱工業生産指数は季節調整済で102.8ポイント（2017年＝100）となり、前月から横ばいとなりました。 前月の0.1％上昇から鈍化しました。

The 1st estimate of real GDP in Japan in January-March quarter of 2024, which was announced on May 16th 2024, decreased by a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 2.0 percent from the previous quarter. It slowed down from remain unchanged of previous quarter.
The new housing starts in U.S. in April 2024, which was announced on the same day, recorded a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1360 thousand of units. It rose by 5.7 percent from the previous month but it fell by 0.6 percent from the same month a year earlier.
The index of industrial production in U.S. in April 2024, which was announced on the same day, was a seasonally adjusted of 102.8 points (2017=100), a remain unchanged from the previous month. It slowed down from 0.1 percent rose of the previous month.
