同日発表された米国の3月の卸売売上高は6620億ドルで、前月比1.3％減少しましたが、前年同月比は1.4％増加しました。 また、同時期の米国の卸売在庫は8940億ドルで、前月比0.4％減少、前年同月比2.3％減少となりました。 これらの統計を見る限り、最近、アメリカの卸売業者は慎重な姿勢をとっている印象があります。

The index of industrial production for Germany in March 2024, which was announced on May 8th 2024, was a seasonally and calendar adjusted of 95.2 points (2021=100), a fell by 0.4 percent from the previous month. It fell for the first time in three months.
Announced on the same day, the sales of merchant wholesale in U.S. in March 2024 was US$662 billion, a fell by 1.3 percent from the previous month but rose by 1.4 percent from the same month a year earlier. And the inventories of merchant wholesale in U.S. in same period was US$894 billion, a fell by 0.4 percent from the previous month and fell by 2.3 percent from the same month a year earlier. Judging from appearances of these statistics, I have an impression that the merchant wholesalers in U.S. are in a state of cautious stance recently.
