9月12日に発表された8月の国内企業物価指数は123.0ポイント（2020年＝100）で、前月比0.2％低下しましたが、前年同月比では2.5％上昇しました。
同日発表されたインドの8月の消費者物価指数は193.0ポイント（2012年＝100）で、前年同月比3.65％上昇しました。ただ、一般消費者の生活に密接な食品・飲料の価格指数は同期間5.30％上昇し、消費者物価指数の3.65％上昇を大きく上回りました。
同日、欧州中央銀行は政策金利を25ベーシスポイント引き下げることを決定しました。
同日発表された米国の8月の卸売物価指数は前月比0.2％上昇しました。内訳をみると、物品価格は横ばいでしたが、サービス価格は0.4％上昇しました。

The producer price index for Japan in August 2024, which was announced on September 12th 2024, was 123.0 points (2020=100), a fell by 0.2 percent from the previous month but rose by 2.5 percent from the same month a year earlier.
The consumer price index for India in August 2024, which was announced on the same day, was 193.0 points (2012=100), a rose by 3.65 percent from the same month a year earlier. But, in which, the price index for food and beverage that strongly connected to general consumers' lives rose by 5.30 percent in the same period and exceeded 3.65 percent rose of the CPI for general significantly.
On the same day, the European Central Bank decided to lower the policy interest rate by 25 basis points.
The producer price index for U.S. in August 2024, which was announced on the same day, rose by 0.2 percent from the previous month. Looking at the breakdown of it, the goods prices unchanged but the services prices rose by 0.4 percent.
