9月4日に発表されたユーロ圏の7月の工業製品の生産者物価指数は124.3ポイント（2021年＝100）となり、前年同月比2.1％低下しました。しかし、2024年6月と比較すると0.8％上昇し、2024年6月の0.6％上昇から加速しました。
同日発表された米国の7月の貿易収支は、季節調整済で788億ドルの赤字となり、前月比7.9％上昇しました。輸出、輸入ともに前月比で増加しました。
同日発表された米国FRBの8月のベージュブックでは、「3地区で経済活動がわずかに伸びた一方、横ばいまたは減少を報告した地区の数は前回の5地区から今回は9地区に増加した」と報告されました。

The industrial producer price index for euro area in July 2024, which was announced on September 4th 2024, was 124.3 points (2021=100), a fell by 2.1 percent from the same month a year earlier. But, compared with June 2024, it rose by 0.8 percent and accelerated from 0.6 percent rose at June 2024.
The trade balance of U.S. in July 2024, which was announced on the same day, was US$78.8 billion deficit on a seasonally adjusted basis, a rose by 7.9 percent from the previous month. Both exports and imports increased from the previous month.
The Beige Book for U.S. in August 2024 by Fed, which was announced on the same day, reported "Economic activity grew slightly in three Districts, while the number of Districts that reported flat or declining activity rose from five in the prior period to nine in the current period ".
