12月24日に発表された2024年10月30日～31日の日銀議事要旨によると、経済・物価見通しについて「委員は、消費者物価（除く生鮮食品）の前年比について、今年度に２％台半ばとなったあと、2025 年度および 2026 年度は、概ね２％程度で推移するとの見方で一致した。」としている。

According to the BOJ minutes on October 30th to 31st 2024, which was announced on December 24th 2024, it says, in regard to outlook for economic activity and prices, "They agreed that the year-on-year rate of increase in the CPI (all items less fresh food) was likely to be at around 2.5 percent for fiscal 2024 and then be at around 2 percent for fiscal 2025 and 2026."
