The preliminary estimate for consumer price index for India in November 2024, which was announced on December 12th 2024, was 196.5 points (2012=100), a rose by 5.48 percent on the same month a year earlier. It slowed down from 6.21 percent rose in October 2024.
The index of industrial production for India in October 2024, which was announced on the same day, was 149.9 points (2011-12=100), a rose by 3.5 percent on the same month a year earlier. It accelerated from 3.1 percent rose in September 2024.
On the same day, the European Central Bank decided to lower the policy interest rate by 25 basis points.
The seasonally adjusted producer price index for total final demand in the U.S. in November 2024, which was announced on the same day, rose by 0.4 percent on the previous month. It accelerated from 0.3 percent rose in October 2024.
The retail sales volume in the Brazil in October 2024, which was announced on the same day, increased by 0.4% on the previous month.
