12月2日に発表された最新の法人企業統計調査によると、2024年第3四半期は前年同期比で売上高が2.6％増、設備投資が8.1％増となりましたが、経常利益は3.5％減、在庫投資は36.0％減となりました。
同日発表された米国の11月のISM製造業PMIは前月比1.9ポイント増の48.4となり、8カ月連続で50を下回りました。

According to the latest financial statements statistics of corporations in the Japan, which was announced on December 2nd 2024, in 3rd quarter of 2024, compared with the same quarter a year earlier, the sales value increased by 2.6 percent, the capital expenditure increased by 8.1 percent but the ordinary profit decreased by 3.5 percent and the inventory investment decreased by 36.0 percent.
The ISM manufacturing PMI for U.S. in November 2024, which was announced on the same day, was 48.4 percent, a rose of 1.9 percentage points on the previous month. It was below 50 percent for eight consecutive months.
