The new orders for nondefense capital goods excluding aircraft in the U.S. in November 2024, which was announced on December 23rd 2024, was US$74.3 billion on a seasonally adjusted basis, a rose by 0.7 percent on the previous month. It reversed and rose from 0.1 percent fell in October 2024.
The Conference Board consumer confidence index for U.S. in December 2024, which was announced on the same day, was 104.7 points (1985=100), a fell by 8.1 points on the previous month.
