10月2日に発表された9月の日銀短観によると、依然として円安が進行しているものの、大企業製造業の業況判断指数は前回調査より改善しました。
同日発表された米国の9月のISM製造業PMIは49.0で、前月比1.4ポイント上昇しました。 内訳を見ると、雇用の指数は改善しましたが、物価の指数は悪化しました。

According to the BOJ's Tankan for September 2023, which was announced on October 2nd 2023, although the Japanese currency is still getting weaker, the sentiment index for current business climate for manufacturing large enterprises got better than the previous survey.
Announced on the same day, the ISM manufacturing PMI for U.S. in September 2023 was 49.0 percent, a rose by 1.4 percentage points from the previous month. Looking at the breakdown of it, the index of employment got better, but the index of prices got worse.
