10月4日に発表されたユーロ圏の8月の工業製品の生産者物価指数は145.9ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比0.6％上昇しました。 8カ月ぶりに上昇しました。 内訳を見ると、エネルギー価格は2.5％上昇しました。
同日発表されたユーロ圏の8月の小売取引高は季節調整済で前月比1.2％減少しました。 2カ月連続の減少になりました。
また、米国の9月のISM非製造業PMIは53.6となり、前月比0.9ポイント低下しました。

The industrial producer price index for Euro-area in August 2023, which was announced on October 4th 2023, was 145.9 points (2015=100), a rose by 0.6 percent from the previous month. It rose for the first time in 8 months. Looking at the breakdown of it, the index of energy price rose by 2.5 percent.
Announced on the same day, the volume of retail trade in Euro-area in August 2023 fell by a seasonally adjusted of 1.2 percent from the previous month. It fell for two consecutive months.
And, the ISM services PMI for U.S. in September 2023 was 53.6 percent, a fell by 0.9 percentage points from the previous month.
