10月10日に発表された8月の経常収支は2兆2790億円の黒字となり、前年同月に比べ1兆6050億円増加しました。 前年同月と比較すると、輸出は2.6％減、輸入は18.2％減となりました。 輸入を製品数量別にみると、石炭が14.3％減、液化天然ガスが9.6％減、原油が1.4％減などとなりました。
また、同日発表された最新の景気ウォッチャー調査によると、9月の現状判断DIは季節調整値で49.9となり、前月比3.7ポイント低下しました。 内訳をみると、企業動向関連（50.5）と雇用関連（51.5）は50を超えましたが、家計動向関連（49.5）は50未満でした。

The current account balance of Japan for August 2023, which was announced on October 10th 2023, was JPY 2279 billion surplus, a rose by JPY 1605 billion from the same month a year earlier. Compared with the same month a year earlier, the export fell by 2.6 percent and the import fell by 18.2 percent. Looking at the breakdown of the import by quantity of product, the coal fell by 14.3%, the liquefied natural gas fell by 9.6% and the crude oil fell by1.4% and so on.
And according to the latest economy watchers survey for Japan, which was announced on the same day, the current economic conditions in September 2023 was at a seasonally adjusted DI of 49.9 percent, a fell by 3.7 percentage points from the previous month. Lookin at the breakdown of it, the corporate activity-related index (50.5 percent) and the employment-related index (51.5 percent) exceeded 50 percent, but the household activity-related index (49.5 percent) was less than 50 percent.
