8月31日、公表された7月の有効求人倍率（季節調整済）は1.15で、前月比0.02ポイント上昇しました。
同日発表された中国の8月の製造業のPMIは50.1、前月から0.5ポイント低下しました。
また、米国の8月のコンファレンス・ボード消費者信頼感指数（1985 = 100）は113.8、前月から11.3ポイント低下しました。

The ratio of job openings to job applicants for Japan in July 2021 (seasonally adjusted), which was announced on August 31th 2021, was 1.15, a rose by 0.02 points from the previous month.
Announced on the same day, the PMI of China's manufacturing industry in August 2021 was 50.1 percent, a fell by 0.5 percentage point from the previous month.
And, the Conference Board consumer confidence index for US in August 2021 (1985=100) was 113.8 points, a fell by 11.3 points from the previous month.
