The S&P/Case-Shiller 20-city composite home price index in the U.S. in August 2024, which was announced on the same day, was 334.74 points, a rose by 5.20 percent on the same month a year earlier.
The Conference Board consumer confidence index for U.S. in October 2024, which was announced on the same day, was 108.7 points (1985=100), a rose of 9.5 points on the previous month significantly.
