10月8日に発表された最新の毎月勤労統計調査によると、8月の現金給与総額の速報値は1人当たり29万6千円で、前年同月比3.0％増となりました。前月の3.4％増から鈍化し、8月の年間インフレ率3.0％と同水準となりました。
同日発表された最新の家計調査によると、8月の世帯当たり消費支出（調査対象：2人以上の世帯）は前年同月比1.9％減となり、前月の0.1％増から反転して減少しました。
同日発表された8月の経常収支の速報値は、季節調整済で3.01兆円の黒字となり、前月比0.21兆円の増加となりました。
同日発表されたドイツの8月の季節・暦調整済の鉱工業生産の速報値は、前月比2.9％増加しました。
同日発表されたフランスの8月の季節・営業日調整済の経常収支は、6億ユーロの赤字となりました。
同日発表された米国の8月の季節調整済の貿易収支は、704億ドルの赤字となり、前月比10.8％減少しました。輸出は前月比で増加しましたが、輸入は減少しました。

According to the latest monthly labour survey in the Japan, which was announced on October 8th 2024, the preliminary estimation of total cash earnings before deducting income tax in August 2024 was JPY296 thousand per person, a rose by 3.0 percent on the same month a year earlier. It slowed down from 3.4 percent rose of the previous month and it was the same level as annual inflation rate in August 2024 for 3.0 percent.
According to the latest family income and expenditure survey in the Japan, which was announced on the same day, the consumption expenditure per household (survey target : two-or-more-person households) in August 2024 decreased by 1.9 percent on the same month a year earlier and it reversed and decreased from 0.1 percent rose of the previous month.
The preliminary estimation of current account balance of Japan in August 2024, which was announced on the same day, was JPY3.01 trillion surplus on a seasonally adjusted basis, a increased of JPY0.21 trillion on the previous month.
The preliminary estimation of seasonally and calendar adjusted industrial production for Germany in August 2024, which was announced on the same day, increased by 2.9 percent on the previous month.
The seasonally and working-day adjusted current account balance of France in August 2024, which was announced on the same day, was EUR 0.6 billion deficit.
The seasonally adjusted trade balance of U.S. for August 2024, which was announced on the same day, was US$70.4 billion deficit, a fell by 10.8 percent on the previous month. The exports increased but imports decreased compared with the previous month.
