10月23日に発表されたユーロ圏の10月の消費者信頼感指数の速報値はマイナス12.5ポイントで、前月より0.4ポイント上昇しました。これは、2024年9月時点の長期平均であるマイナス11.7ポイントを下回りました。
同日に発表されたFRBの10月のベージュブックでは、例えば次のように報告されました。
「全体として、この報告期間中に雇用はわずかに増加し、地区の半分以上がわずかなまたは緩やかな成長を報告し、残りの地区はほとんどまたはまったく変化がないと報告した。」
「インフレは引き続き緩和し、ほとんどの地区で販売価格はわずかまたは緩やかなペースで上昇していると報告されている。」

The preliminary estimate for consumer confidence indicator for euro area in October 2024, which was announced on October 23rd 2024, was minus 12.5 points, a rose of 0.4 percentage points on the previous month. It was below it's long term average at September 2024 for minus 11.7 points.
The Beige book in October 2024 by Fed, which was announced on the same day, reported for example as follows;
"On balance, employment increased slightly during this reporting period, with more than half of the Districts reporting slight or modest growth and the remaining Districts reporting little or no change. "
"Inflation continued to moderate with selling prices reportedly increasing at a slight or modest pace in most Districts."
