同日発表された8月の第3次産業活動指数は、季節調整済で102.7ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比1.1％の低下となりました。内訳をみると、前月比で個人サービス、事業所サービスともに低下しました。
同日発表されたユーロ圏の8月の貿易収支の速報値は、季節調整済で110億ユーロの黒字となり、前月比27億ユーロの減少となりました。前月比、輸出は0.1％減少しましたが、輸入は1.0％増加しました。
同日発表されたユーロ圏の9月の消費者物価指数（HICP）は126.6ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比0.1％低下しました。8月の0.1％上昇から反転して低下しました。
同日発表された米国の9月の小売・外食の月間売上高の速報値は季節調整済で7140億ドルとなり、前月比0.4％増加しました。
同日発表された米国の9月の鉱工業生産指数は季節調整済で102.6ポイントとなり、前月比0.3％低下しました。 8月の0.3%上昇から反転して下落しました。

The trade balance of Japan in September 2024, which was announced on October 17th 2024, was JPY 187 billion deficit on a seasonally adjusted basis, a decreased by 60.3 percent on the previous month.
The index of tertiary industry activity in the Japan in August 2024, which was announced on the same day, was 102.7 points (2015=100) on a seasonally adjusted basis, a fell by 1.1 percent on the previous month. Looking at the breakdown of it, compared with the previous month, both the personal services and the business service fell.
The preliminary estimate for trade balance of euro area in August 2024, which was announced on the same day, was EUR 11.0 billion surplus on a seasonally adjusted basis, a fell of EUR 2.7 billion on the previous month. Compared with the previous month, exports decreased by 0.1 percent but imports increased by 1.0 percent.
The consumer price index (by HICP) for euro area in September 2024, which was announced on the same day, was 126.6 points (2015=100), a fell by 0.1 percent on the previous month. It reversed and fell from 0.1 percent rose in August 2024.
The advance estimate for monthly sales for retail and food services in the U.S. in September 2024, which was announced on the same day, was US$ 714 billion on a seasonally adjusted basis, a increased by 0.4 percent on the previous month.
The index of industrial production for U.S. in September 2024, which was announced on the same day, was 102.6 points on a seasonally adjusted basis, a fell by 0.3 percent on the previous month. It reversed and fell from 0.3 percent rose in August 2024.
