4月の貿易収支、3月の機械受注＿The trade balance of Japan in April 2021 & the machinery orders in Japan in March 2021

5月20日、公表された4月の貿易収支は2550億円の黒字でした。 内訳を見ると、輸出は7兆1,810億円、前年比12.8％増加、 輸入は6兆9,250億円、前年比38.0％増加でした。

同日発表された3月の機械受注の民需（季節調整済、船舶および電力を除く）は、前月比3.7％増加しました。 また、外需は53.9％減少、官公需は2.7％増加しました。

The trade balance of Japan in April 2021, which was announced on May 20th 2021, was JPY 255 billion in the black. Looking at the breakdown of it, the export was JPY 7,181 billion, a rose by 38.0 percent (YoY), and the import was JPY 6,925 billion, a rose by 12.8 percent (YoY).

Announced on the same day, the machinery orders from domestic private-sector of Japan in March 2021 (excluding orders from ships and electric power companies, seasonally adjusted) rose by 3.7 percent from the previous month. And, the orders from overseas fell by 53.9 percent (MoM), and the orders from public sector rose by 2.7 percent (MoM).

3月の鉱工業生産指数、ユーロ圏の4月の消費者物価指数_IIP for Japan in March 2021 & CPI for euro-area in April 2021

5月19日、公表された3月の鉱工業生産指数（季節調整済、確報値、2015年=100）は97.2ポイントで、前月比1.7％上昇しました。 また、在庫比率（同上）は110.0ポイント、0.2％（前月比）上昇しました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の4月の消費者物価指数は、前年同月比1.6％上昇しました。 内訳を見ると、エネルギー価格は10.4％（前年比）上昇しましたが、未加工食品は0.3％（前年比）下落しました。

The index of industrial production for Japan in March 2021 (seasonally adjusted, revised figure, CY2015=100), which was announced on May 19th 2021, was 97.2 points, a rose by 1.7 percent from the previous month.  And the inventory ratio (same as above) was 110.0 points, a rose by 0.2 percent (MoM).

Announced on the same day, the consumer price index for euro-area in April 2021 rose by 1.6 percent from the previous year same month. Looking at the breakdown of it, the energy price rose by 10.4 percent (YoY), but the unprocessed food price fell by 0.3 percent (YoY).

3月の第三次産業活動指数、米国の4月の住宅着工戸数＿The index of tertiary industry activity of Japan for March and the units of housing starts in US for April

5月18日、公表された3月の第三次産業活動指数（季節調整済、2015年=100）は97.5、前月比1.1％上昇しました。 内訳を見ると、個人向けサービス業は94.9ポイントで横ばい（前月比）、法人向けサービス業は100.0ポイントで1.1％上昇（前月比）でした。

同日発表された米国の4月の住宅着工戸数（季節調整済、年率）は1,569,000戸、前月比9.5％減少でした。

The index of tertiary industry activity of Japan for March (seasonally adjusted, CY2015=100) , released on May 18th 2021, was 97.5 points, a rose by 1.1 percent from the previous month. Looking at the breakdown of it, the individual service industry was 94.9 points, a flat (MoM), and the business services industry was 100.0 points, a rose by 1.1 percent (MoM). 

Announced on the same day, the units of housing starts in US for April 2021 (seasonally adjusted, annual rate) was 1,569,000 units, a fell by 9.5 percent from the previous month.

4月の国内企業物価指数、インドの4月の卸売物価指数＿PPI of Japan in April 2021 and WPI of India in April 2021

5月17日、公表された4月の国内企業物価指数は、前年同月比3.6％上昇しました。 内訳を見ると、石油・石炭製品は39.3％上昇（前年比）、非鉄金属は35.2％上昇（前年比）しました。

同日発表された、インドの4月の卸売物価指数は、前年同月比10.49％上昇しました。 内訳を見ると、燃料・電力は20.94％上昇（前年比）、ベースメタルは19.25％上昇（前年比）しました。

The producer price index of Japan in April 2021, which was announced on May 17th 2021, rose by 3.6 percent from the previous year same month. Looking at the breakdown of it, the petroleum & coal products price rose by 39.3 percent (YoY), and the nonferrous metals price rose by 35.2 percent (YoY).

Announced on the same day, the wholesale price index of India in April 2021 rose by 10.49 percent from the previous year same month. Looking at the breakdown of it, the fuel & power price rose by 20.94 percent (YoY), and the basic metals price rose by 19.25 percent (YoY).

4月の景気ウォッチャー調査_The economy watchers survey of Japan in April 2021

5月13日、公表された景気ウォッチャー調査によれば、4月の現状判断DI（季節調整済）は39.1、前月から9.9ポイント低下しました。

内訳を見ると、すべてのサブインデックスが50を下回りました。

企業動向関連は45.8、雇用関連は49.4、家計動向関連は35.4でした。

According to the economy watchers survey of Japan released on May 13th 2021, the DI for current economic conditions in April 2021 (seasonally adjusted) was 39.1 points, a fell by 9.9 points from the previous month.

Looking at the breakdown of it, all sub-indexes of it fell below 50.

The corporate activity index was 45.8 points, the employment index was 49.4 points, and the household activity index was 35.4 points.
