3月17日に発表された2026年1月の第三次産業活動指数は、季節調整済で106.3ポイント（2019-20年＝100）となり、前月比1.7%上昇しました。3カ月ぶりの上昇でした。
同日に発表されたドイツの2026年3月のZEW企業景況感指数はマイナス0.5ポイントとなり、前月比58.8ポイントの大幅低下となりました。ZEWは「中東情勢の緊迫化によりエネルギー価格が高騰し、インフレ圧力が高まっている」とし、「金融市場の専門家は、紛争の早期解決には懐疑的だ」とコメントしました。
同日に発表された米国の2026年2月の住宅販売保留指数の速報値は、季節調整済の年率換算で72.1ポイントとなり、前月比1.8％上昇、前年同月比0.8％低下しました。

The index of tertiary industry activity for Japan in January 2026, which was announced on 17th March 2026, was 106.3 points (2019-20=100) on a seasonally adjusted basis, a rose by 1.7 percent from the previous month. It rose for the first time in three months.
The ZEW indicator of economic sentiment for Germany in March 2026, released on the same day, was minus 0.5 points, a fell significantly by 58.8 points from the previous month. ZEW comments "The escalation in the Middle East spikes energy prices and increases inflationary pressure. " ,"The financial market experts are sceptical that a quick resolution of the conflict will take place.”
Preliminary estimate of the pending house sales index for U.S. in February 2026, released on the same day, was seasonally adjusted annual rate of 72.1 points, a rose by 1.8 percent from the previous month but fell by 0.8 percent from the same month a year earlier.
