The consumer price index for Japan in February 2026, released on 24th March 2026, was 112.2 points (2020=100), a rose by 1.3 percent from the same month a year earlier, down from 1.5 percent in January 2026. In addition, the break even inflation rate was 1.798 percent in 23rd March 2026.
