8月20日に発表された2025年7月の貿易収支の速報値は、季節調整済みで3,029億円の赤字となり、前月比22.4%の赤字幅拡大となった。前月との比較では、輸出は0.2%減少しましたが、輸入は0.4%増加しました。
同日発表された2025年6月の機械受注の民需（船舶・電力を除く）は季節調整済みで前月比3.0%の増加となり、2か月連続の減少から反転して増加となりました。また、海外からの機械受注は前月比8.8%の増加となりました。
同日発表されたドイツの2025年7月の工業製品の生産者物価指数は126.0ポイント（2021年＝100）となり、0.1%の低下となりました。先月は7か月ぶりにプラスに転じましたが、再びマイナスに転じました。
同日発表されたユーロ圏の7月の月次インフレ率は0.0%でした。内訳をみると、非エネルギー工業製品は2.4%低下しましたが、エネルギー価格は1.0%上昇、サービス価格は1.1%上昇しました。

The preliminary estimate of trade balance of Japan in July 2025, which was announced on 20th August 2025, was JPY302.9 billion deficit on a seasonally adjusted basis, a increased by 22.4 percent from the previous month. Compared with the previous month, exports decreased by 0.2 percent but imports increased by 0.4 percent.
The seasonally adjusted machinery orders from domestic private-sector ( excluding orders from ships and electric power companies) in the Japan in June 2025, which was announced on the same day, increased by 3.0 percent from the previous month. It reversed and increased from two consecutive months decreased. And the machinery orders from overseas increased by 8.8 percent from the previous month.
The producer price index for industrial products in the Germany in July 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 126.0 points (2021=100), a fell by 0.1 percent. It was positive last month for the first time in seven months, but has gone back to negative.
The monthly inflation rate in the euro area in July 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 0.0 percent. Looking at the breakdown of it, non-energy industrial goods was 2.4 percent fall but energy price was 1.0 percent rose and service price was 1.1 percent rose.
