8月28日に発表されたインドの2025年7月の鉱工業生産指数の速報値は155.0ポイント（2011-12年＝100）で、前年同月比3.5%上昇しました。2025年6月の1.5%上昇から加速しました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の2025年8月の経済景況感指数は、季節調整済みで95.2ポイント（長期平均＝100）で、前月比0.5ポイント低下しました。ここ数ヶ月、長期平均を下回る水準で安定的に推移する傾向が続いています。

同日発表された米国の2025年7月の住宅販売保留指数の速報値は71.7ポイントで、前月比0.4%低下しました。

The preliminary estimate of industrial production index for India in July 2025, which was announced on 28th August 2025, was 155.0 points (2011-12=100), a rose by 3.5 percent from the same month a year earlier. It accelerated from 1.5 percent rose in June 2025.

The economic sentiment indicator for euro area in August 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 95.2 points (long term average=100) on a seasonally adjusted basis, a fell by 0.5 points from the previous month. It continue tendency to remain stable at a level below the long term average in the past few months.

The preliminary estimate of pending home sales index for U.S. in July 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 71.7 points, a fell by 0.4 percent from the previous month.

EUにおける留学生に関する調査_The survey about students from abroad in the EU

8月22日に発表されたEUにおける高等教育課程を履修する留学生に関する調査によると、留学生数は176万人で、全学生数の8.4%を占めています。

4月30日に発表された日本における留学生に関する調査によると、留学生数は34万人で、全学生数の9.2%を占めています。この日本の留学生割合はEUを上回っています。

しかし、人口に占める留学生の割合で見ると、EUの人口は約4億4900万人であるのに対し、日本の人口は約1億2400万人であるため、日本はEUよりも留学生数が少ないと言えます。

According to the survey about students from abroad undertaking tertiary level studies in the EU, which was announced on 22nd August 2025,  there were 1.76 million students, amounting to 8.4% of all students.

And according to the survey about students from abroad in the Japan, which was announced on 30th April 2025, there were 0.34 million students. And the students from abroad undertaking tertiary level studies amounting to 9.2% of all students. This percentage of international students in Japan exceeds that of the EU.

However, in terms of the proportion of international students in the population, Japan has fewer than the EU because the population of the EU is about 449 million, and the population of Japan is 124 million.

企業向けサービス価格指数、米国の耐久財受注・S&P/ケース・シラー20都市圏住宅価格指数・コンファレンス・ボード消費者信頼感指数＿The services producer price index for Japan, The new orders for durable goods, the S&P/Case-Shiller 20-city composite home price index and the Conference Board consumer confidence index in the U.S.

8月26日に発表された2025年7月の企業向けサービス価格指数の速報値は111.0ポイント（2020年＝100）で、前月比0.3%上昇した。前月比では、2025年6月の0.2%下落から反転上昇に転じました。

同日発表された米国の2025年7月の航空機を除く非国防資本財の新規受注額は、季節調整済で764億ドルとなり、前月比1.1%増加しました。前月比では、2025年6月の0.6%下落から反転上昇に転じました。

同日発表された米国の2025年6月のS&P/ケース・シラー20都市圏住宅価格指数は、前年同月比2.14%上昇しました。

同日発表された米国の2025年8月のコンファレンス・ボード消費者信頼感指数は97.4ポイント（1985年＝100）となり、前月比1.3ポイント低下しました。

The preliminary estimate of services producer price index for Japan in July 2025, which was announced on 26th August 2025, was 111.0 points (2020=100), a rose by 0.3 percent from the previous month. Compared with the previous month, it reversed and rose from 0.2 percent fall in June 2025.

The new orders for manufactured nondefense capital goods excluding aircraft in the U.S. in July 2025, which was announced on the same day, was US$76.4 billion on a seasonally adjusted basis, an increased by 1.1 percent from the previous month. Compared with the previous month, it reversed and increased from 0.6 percent fall in June 2025.

The S&P/Case-Shiller 20-city composite home price index for U.S. in June 2025, which was announced on the same day, rose by 2.14 percent from the same month a year earlier.

The Conference Board consumer confidence index for U.S. in August 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 97.4 points (1985=100), a fell by 1.3 points from the previous month.

景気一致指数、ドイツのIFO企業景況感指数＿The coincident index for business conditions in the Japan, The ifo business climate index for Germany

8月25日に発表された2025年6月の景気一致指数の改訂値は116.7ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、速報値の116.8ポイントから0.1ポイント僅かに低下しました。

同日発表されたドイツの2025年8月のIFO企業景況感指数は89.0ポイントとなり、2025年7月の88.6ポイントから上昇しました。これは明るい動きのように見えますが、IFO研究所は「しかしながら、現状はやや悪化したと評価されている。ドイツ経済の回復は依然として弱い」と述べています。

The revised estimate of coincident index for business conditions in the Japan in June 2025, which was announced on 25th August 2025, was 116.7 points (2020=100), a slightly fell by 0.1 points from the preliminary estimate for 116.8 points.

The ifo business climate index for Germany in August 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 89.0 points, up from 88.6 points in July 2025. It seems to be positive movement but ifo institute says "However, the current situation was assessed as slightly worse. The German economy’s recovery remains weak."

ユーロ圏の消費者信頼感指数、米国の失業保険週間申請件数＿The consumer confidence indicator for euro area, The unemployment insurance weekly number of applications in the U.S.

8月21日に発表されたユーロ圏の2025年8月の消費者信頼感指数の速報値は、前月比0.8ポイント低下し、マイナス15.5ポイントとなりました。

同日発表された、米国の2025年8月16日までの週の失業保険週間申請件数報告によると、季節調整済の新規申請件数の4週間移動平均は226,250件で、前週の修正前平均221,750件から4,500件増加しました。これは、2025年6月14日の直近の4週間移動平均の最高値245,750件を依然として下回っています。

The preliminary estimate of consumer confidence indicator for euro area in August 2025, which was announced on 21st August 2025, was minus 15.5 points, a fell by 0.8 points from the previous month.

According to the unemployment insurance weekly number of applications report in the U.S. in the week ending 16th August 2025, which was announced on the same day, the 4-week moving average of seasonally adjusted initial claims was 226,250, an increase of 4,500 from the previous week's unrevised average of 221,750.  It was below recent maximum of 4-week moving average for 245,750 in 14th June 2025 still.

貿易収支、機械受注、ドイツの工業製品の生産者物価指数、ユーロ圏のインフレ率＿The trade balance of Japan, The machinery orders in the Japan, The PPI for industrial products in the Germany, The inflation rate in the euro area

8月20日に発表された2025年7月の貿易収支の速報値は、季節調整済みで3,029億円の赤字となり、前月比22.4%の赤字幅拡大となった。前月との比較では、輸出は0.2%減少しましたが、輸入は0.4%増加しました。

同日発表された2025年6月の機械受注の民需（船舶・電力を除く）は季節調整済みで前月比3.0%の増加となり、2か月連続の減少から反転して増加となりました。また、海外からの機械受注は前月比8.8%の増加となりました。

同日発表されたドイツの2025年7月の工業製品の生産者物価指数は126.0ポイント（2021年＝100）となり、0.1%の低下となりました。先月は7か月ぶりにプラスに転じましたが、再びマイナスに転じました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の7月の月次インフレ率は0.0%でした。内訳をみると、非エネルギー工業製品は2.4%低下しましたが、エネルギー価格は1.0%上昇、サービス価格は1.1%上昇しました。

The preliminary estimate of trade balance of Japan in July 2025, which was announced on 20th August 2025, was JPY302.9 billion deficit on a seasonally adjusted basis, a increased by 22.4 percent from the previous month. Compared with the previous month, exports decreased by 0.2 percent but imports increased by 0.4 percent.

The seasonally adjusted machinery orders from domestic private-sector ( excluding orders from ships and electric power companies) in the Japan in June 2025, which was announced on the same day, increased by 3.0 percent from the previous month. It reversed and increased from two consecutive months decreased. And the machinery orders from overseas increased by 8.8 percent from the previous month. 

The producer price index for industrial products in the Germany in July 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 126.0 points (2021=100), a fell by 0.1 percent. It was positive last month for the first time in seven months, but has gone back to negative.

The monthly inflation rate in the euro area in July 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 0.0 percent. Looking at the breakdown of it, non-energy industrial goods was 2.4 percent fall but energy price was 1.0 percent rose and service price was 1.1 percent rose.

ユーロ圏の経常収支、米国の住宅着工＿The current account balance for euro area, The housing starts in the U.S.

8月19日に発表されたユーロ圏の2025年6月の経常収支は360億ユーロの黒字となり、前月比40億ユーロ増加しました。前月と比較すると、財の貿易収支の黒字は減少しましたが、サービスの貿易収支と第一次所得収支の黒字は増加しました。

同日発表された、米国の2025年7月の民間住宅着工戸数の速報値は、季節調整済の年率換算で142万8000戸、前月比5.2%増加しました。前月比では、2025年5月のマイナス8.3％の大幅落ち込みの後、2か月連続の増加となりました。

The current account balance for euro area in June 2025, which was announced on 19th August 2025, was EUR36 billion surplus, an increased by EUR4 billion from the previous month. Compared with the previous month, the surplus of trade balance in goods decreased but the surplus of trade balance in services and primary income increased. 

The preliminary estimate of new privately-owned housing units started in the U.S. in July 2025, which was announced on the same day, were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1,428,000 units, an increased by 5.2 percent from the previous month. Compared with the previous month, it increased for two consecutive months after sharp drop of minus 8.3 percent in May 2025.

8月18日に発表された2025年6月の第3次産業活動指数は、季節調整済で105.0ポイント（2019年-2020年＝100）となり、前月比0.5%上昇しました。前月比では3ヶ月連続の上昇となりました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の2025年6月の財の貿易収支は70億ユーロの黒字となり、2024年6月の207億ユーロの黒字から減少しました。

The trade balance in goods in the euro area for June 2025, which was announced on the same day, was EUR7.0 billion surplus, down from the surplus of EUR20.7 billion in June 2024.

同日発表されたユーロ圏の2025年第2四半期の季節調整済のGDPは、前四半期比0.1%上昇しました。 2025年第1四半期の0.6%増から減速しました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の2025年6月の季節調整済の鉱工業生産は、前月比1.3%減少しました。2025年5月の1.1%増から反転し、減少に転じました。

同日発表された米国の2025年7月の季節調整済の生産者物価指数は、前月比0.9%上昇しました。2025年7月の物価指数の月次上昇率は、財（+0.7%）とサービス（+1.1%）ともに今年最高の伸びとなりました。

The consumer price index for France in July 2025, which was announced on 14th August 2025, was 121.62 points (2015=100), a rose by 0.2 percent from the previous month. It slowed down from 0.4 percent in June 2025.

The seasonally adjusted GDP for euro area in 2nd quarter of 2025, which was announced on the same day, increased by 0.1 percent from the previous quarter. It slowed down from 0.6 percent rose in 1st quarter of 2025.

The seasonally adjusted industrial production for euro area in June 2025, which was announced on the same day, decreased by 1.3 percent from the previous month. It reversed and decreased from 1.1 percent increased in May 2025.

The seasonally adjusted producer price index for total final demand in the U.S. in July 2025, which was announced on the same day, rose by 0.9 percent from the previous month. Both price index monthly growth rate of goods ( +0.7 percent) and services ( +1.1 percent) in July 2025 were the highest rate in this year.

国内企業物価指数、ドイツの消費者物価指数、ブラジルの小売売上高＿The producer price index for Japan, The consumer price index for Germany, The retail sales in the Brazil

8月13日に発表された2025年7月の国内企業物価指数の速報値は126.6ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、前月比0.2%上昇しました。この0.2%の上昇に最も寄与したのは石油・石炭製品で、寄与度は0.11%でした。

同日発表されたドイツの2025年7月の消費者物価指数は、前年同月比2.0%上昇しました。ドイツ連邦統計局は、「エネルギー価格は引き続き下落しており、全体的なインフレ率を押し下げている。一方、特にサービス価格の上昇は依然として平均を上回っており、インフレ率を押し上げている」と述べています。

同日発表されたブラジルの2025年6月の小売売上高は、季節調整済で前月比0.1%減少したものの、前年同月比では0.3%増加しました。

The preliminary estimate of producer price index for Japan in July 2025, which was announced on 13rd August 2025, was 126.6 points (2020=100), a rose by 0.2 percent from the previous month. The group of petroleum and coal products was most contributor to this 0.2 percent rose and it's contribution rate was 0.11 percent.

The consumer price index for Germany in July 2025, which was announced on the same day, rose by 2.0 percent from the same month  a year earlier. The Federal Statistical Office of Germany says "Energy prices are continuing to drop and have a downward effect on overall inflation. On the other hand, the increase in service prices, in particular, remains above average and is driving up inflation."

The volume of retail sales in the Brazil in June 2025, which was announced on the same day, decreased by 0.1 percent on a seasonally adjusted basis from the previous month but increased by 0.3 percent from the same month a year earlier.

マネーストック、インドの消費者物価指数、ドイツのZEW景況感指数、米国の消費者物価指数＿The money stock in the Japan, The CPI for India, The ZEW indicator of economic sentiment for Germany, The CPI for U.S.

8月12日に発表された2025年7月のマネーストックM2の平均残高は、季節調整済みで1,264.5兆円となり、前月比3.3%増加しました。2025年6月の2.4%増から加速しました。

同日発表されたインドの2025年7月の消費者物価指数の速報値は196.0ポイント（2012年＝100）となり、前年比1.55%上昇しました。前年比のインフレ率は2024年11月以降低下傾向にあり、2017年6月以来の低い前年比インフレ率となりました。

同日発表されたドイツの2025年8月のZEW景況感指数はプラス34.7ポイントとなり、前月比18.0ポイントの大幅低下となりました。これは、最近発表されたEUと米国との貿易協定の影響を受けた可能性があります。

同日発表された米国の2025年7月の都市部の季節調整済の消費者物価指数は前月比0.2%上昇し、2025年6月の0.3%上昇から鈍化しました。

The average amounts outstanding of money stock M2 in the Japan in July 2025, which was announced on 12th August 2025, was JPY1264.5 trillion on a seasonally adjusted basis, a rose by 3.3 percent from the previous month. It accelerated from 2.4 percent rose in June 2025.

The preliminary estimate of consumer price index for India in July 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 196.0 points (2012=100), a rose by 1.55 percent year-on-year. The annual inflation rate has been on a downward trend since November 2024 and it was the lowest annual inflation rate after June 2017.

The ZEW indicator of economic sentiment for Germany in August 2025, which was announced on the same day, was  plus 34.7 points, a significantly fell by 18.0 points from the previous month. It may have been affected by recently announced EU–US trade deal.

The seasonally adjusted consumer price index for all urban consumers in the U.S. in July 2025, which was announced on the same day, rose by 0.2 percent from the previous month, and it slowed down from 0.3 percent rose in June 2025.

8月7日に発表された2025年6月の景気一致指数の速報値は116.8ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、前月比0.8ポイント上昇しました。2カ月ぶりの上昇となりました。

同日発表されたドイツの2025年6月の季節調整済み・暦年調整済み鉱工業生産の速報値は、前月比1.9%減少しました。これにより、鉱工業生産は、新型コロナウイルス感染症（COVID-19）のパンデミックの影響で大幅に減少した2020年5月以来の最低水準となりました。

同日発表された米国の2025年6月の季節調整済の消費者信用残高は、前月比年率1.8%増加しました。ただ、リボルビングローンは1.0%減少し、2ヶ月連続の減少となりました。

The preliminary estimate of coincident index for business conditions in the Japan in June 2025, which was announced on 7th August 2025, was 116.8 points (2020=100), a rose by 0.8 points from the previous month. It rose for the first time in two months.

The preliminary estimate of seasonally and calendar adjusted industrial production for Germany in June 2025, which was announced on the same day, fell by 1.9 percent from the previous month. Production in industry therefore reached the lowest level since May 2020, when it decreased dramatically due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 

According to latest monthly wholesale trade report for U.S., which was announced on the same day, in June 2025, compared with the previous month, sales increased by 0.3 percent and inventories increased by 0.1 percent. 

The seasonally adjusted consumer credit outstanding in the U.S. in June 2025, which was announced on the same day, increased by annual rate of 1.8 percent from the previous month. But in which, the revolving decreased by 1.0 percent that decreased for two consecutive months.

毎月勤労統計調査、インド準備銀行の金融政策決定、ユーロ圏の小売高＿The monthly labour survey in the Japan, Reserve Bank of India's decision for monetary policy, The retail trade in euro area

8月6日に発表された最新の毎月勤労統計調査によると、2025年6月の現金給与総額の速報値は1人当たり51万1千円で、前年同月比2.5%増加しました。この増加率は、2025年7月18日に発表された2025年6月の年間インフレ率3.3%を下回りました。

同日、インド準備銀行は政策金利レポ金利を5.50%に据え置くことを決定しました。インド準備銀行は、「金融市場のボラティリティと地政学的不確実性はここ数ヶ月でピークからいくらか和らいでいるものの、貿易交渉における課題は依然として残っている」、 「国内経済は依然として底堅く、概ね我々の評価に沿って推移している。」、「ベース効果の悪化と政策措置による需要サイドの要因が作用するため、消費者物価指数のインフレ率は2025～26年第4四半期以降、4%をわずかに上回る可能性が高い」と述べています。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の2025年6月の小売高指数は102.6ポイント（2021年＝100）で、前月比0.3%上昇した。前月比では、2025年5月の0.3%下落から反転し、上昇に転じました。

According to the latest monthly labour survey in the Japan, which was announced on 6th August 2025, the preliminary estimate of total cash earnings before deducting income tax in June 2025 was JPY511 thousand per person, a rose by 2.5 percent from the same month a year earlier. This growth rate was below annual inflation rate of 3.3 percent in June 2025 which was announced on 18th July 2025.

On the same day, the Reserve Bank of India decided to maintain the policy repo rate at 5.50 percent.  RBI says "Although financial market volatility and geopolitical uncertainties have abated somewhat from their peaks in recent months, trade negotiation challenges continue to linger.", "Domestic growth remains resilient and is broadly evolving along the lines of our assessment." , and "CPI inflation, however, is likely to edge up above 4 per cent by Q4:2025-26 and beyond, as unfavourable base effects, and demand side factors from policy actions come into play. "

The volume index of retail trade in euro area in June 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 102.6 points (2021=100), a rose by 0.3 percent from the previous month. Compared with the previous month, it reversed and rose from 0.3 percent fall in May 2025.

8月5日に公表された2025年6月16日・17日の日銀議事要旨には、「何人かの委員は、米国の関税政策の影響で企業収益が下押しされた場合に、近年の企業の積極的な賃金・価格設定行動が途切れないかどうかを注視する必要があると指摘した。」と記載されています。

同日発表されたフランスの2025年6月の鉱工業生産指数は103.4ポイント（2021年＝100）で、前月比3.8%上昇しました。2025年5月の0.7%下落から反転上昇に転じました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の2025年6月の鉱工業の生産者物価指数は123.9ポイント（2021年＝100）で、前月比0.8%上昇しました。 2025年5月の0.6%減から反転上昇しました。

同日発表された米国の2025年6月の財・サービス貿易収支は602億ドルの赤字となり、前月比16.0%の減少となりました。輸入、輸出ともに前月比で減少しました。

同日発表された米国の2025年7月のISM非製造業PMIは50.1となり、前月比0.7ポイント低下しました。50を上回ったものの、最近12か月の平均である52.3を下回りました。

The BOJ minutes on 16th and 17th June 2025, which was published on 5th August 2025, says "Some members noted that, in the event that corporate profits were pushed down due to the impact of U.S. tariff policy, close attention needed to be paid to whether firms' wage- and price-setting behavior, which had been active in recent years, would remain intact. ".

The index of industrial production for France in June 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 103.4 points (2021=100), a rose by 3.8 percent from the previous month. It reversed and rose from 0.7 percent fall in May 2025.

The index of industrial producer price for euro area in June 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 123.9 points (2021=100), a rose by 0.8 percent from the previous month.  It reversed and rose from 0.6 percent fall in May 2025.

The trade balance in  goods and services of U.S. in June 2025, which was announced on the same day, was  US$60.2 billion deficit, a fell by 16.0 percent from the previous month. Both imports and exports decreased from the previous month. 

The ISM services PMI for U.S. in July 2025, which was announced on the same day,  was 50.1 percent, a fell by 0.7 percentage points from the previous month. It exceeded 50 percent but was below recent 12 months average for 52.3 percent.

マネタリーベース＿The monetary base in the Japan

8月4日に発表された2025年7月のマネタリーベースの平均残高は643兆89百億円で、前年同月比3.9%減少しました。前年同月比では11ヶ月連続の減少となりました。

なお、直近11ヶ月の前年同月比では、コアインフレ率は上昇傾向にあるものの、現金給与総額の伸び率は低下傾向にあります。

The average amounts outstanding of monetary base in the Japan in July 2025, which was announced on 4th August 2025, was JPY643.89 trillion, a decreased by 3.9 percent from the same month a year earlier. Compared with the same month a year earlier, it decreased for elven consecutive months.

And recent eleven months, compared with the same month a year earlier, the core inflation rate is trending upward but the growth rate of total cash earnings before deducting income tax is trending downward.

日本銀行の金融政策決定、鉱工業生産、消費動向調査、中国の製造業PMI、米国の個人所得・消費支出＿BOJ's decision for monetary policy, The industrial production index and the consumer confidence survey for Japan, The manufacturing PMI for China, The personal income and consumption expenditures in the U.S.

7月31日、日本銀行は、政策金利を予想通り0.5%に据え置くことを決定しました。

同日発表された2025年6月の鉱工業生産指数の速報値は、季節調整済みで102.9ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、前月比1.7%上昇した。一方、在庫指数は0.4%減少しました。

同日発表された7月の消費動向調査によると、2025年7月の消費者態度指数（調査対象：二人以上の世帯）は季節調整済みで33.7ポイントとなり、前月比0.8ポイント低下しました。前月比では3か月ぶりの低下となりました。

同日発表された中国の2025年7月の製造業PMIは49.3で、前月比0.4ポイント低下しました。4カ月連続で50を下回りました。

同日発表された米国の2025年6月の個人所得・消費支出は、ともに前月比0.3%増加しました。

On 31st July 2025, the Bank of Japan decided to keep policy interest rate rate steady at 0.5%, as expected.

The preliminary estimate of industrial production index for Japan in June 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 102.9 points (2020=100) on a seasonally adjusted basis, a rose by 1.7 percent from the previous month. But the index of inventory fell by 0.4 percent.

According to the consumer confidence survey for Japan in July, which was announced on the same day, the consumer confidence index for July 2025 (survey target : households of two or more person) was 33.7 points on a seasonally adjusted basis, a fell by 0.8 points from the previous month. Compared with the previous month, it fell for the first time in three months.

The manufacturing PMI for China in July 2025, which was announced on the same day, was 49.3 percent, a fell by 0.4 percentage points from the previous month. It was below 50 percent for four consecutive months.

Both the personal income and consumption expenditures in the U.S. in June 2025, which was announced on the same day, increased by 0.3 percent from the previous month.
