同日発表された中国の7月の製造業PMIは49.4となり、前月比0.1ポイント低下しました。 3か月連続で50を下回りました。
同日発表された米国の6月の住宅販売保留指数の速報値は74.3で、前月比4.8％上昇しました。

On July 31st 2024, the BOJ decided to raise policy interest rate for 0.25 percent and plan to slow its massive government bond buying.
On the same day, the Fed decided to remain policy interest rate as expected.
The retail sales value in the Japan in June 2024, which was announced on the same day, was JPY13.6 trillion on a seasonally adjusted basis, a rose by 0.6 percent from the previous month.
According to the latest consumer confidence survey for Japan, which was announced on the same day, the consumer confidence index for July 2024 (survey target : households of two or more person) was 36.7 points on a seasonally adjusted basis, a rose by 0.3 points from the previous month slightly.
The manufacturing PMI for China in July 2024, which was announced on the same day, was 49.4 percent, a fell by 0.1 percentage points from the previous month. It was below 50 percent for three consecutive months.
The preliminary estimate for pending home sales index for U.S. in June 2024, which was announced on the same day, was 74.3 points, a rose by 4.8 percent from the previous month.
