10月31日、日本銀行は10年債利回りの上限を1％とする長期金利の利回り抑制政策を緩和しました。しかし、短期政策金利は維持しています。
同日発表された最新の一般職業紹介状況によると、9月の有効求人倍率は季節調整値で1.29倍となり、前月と横ばいとなりました。
また、9月の鉱工業生産指数は季節調整済で103.3ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、前月比0.2％上昇しました。 前月比では3カ月ぶりに上昇しました。
また、同日発表された最新の消費動向調査によると、10月の消費者態度指数（調査対象：二人以上の世帯）は、季節調整値で35.7ポイントとなり、前月比0.5ポイント上昇しました。 前月比では3カ月ぶりに上昇しました。
同日発表された中国の10月の製造業PMIは49.5で、前月比0.7ポイント低下しました。5カ月ぶりに下落しました。
また、米国の8月のS&P/ケース・シラー20都市圏住宅価格指数は317.88ポイントとなり、前年同月比2.15％上昇しました。
そして、米国の10月のコンファレンス・ボード消費者信頼感指数は102.6ポイント（1985年＝100）となり、前月より1.7ポイント低下しました。

On October 31th 2023, the Bank of Japan loosened their yield control policy for long term rate that is 1% cap on the 10-year bond yield. But they are keeping their short term policy rate.
According to the latest employment referrals for general workers in Japan, which was announced on the same day, the ratio of job openings to job applicants for September 2023 was a seasonally adjusted score of 1.29 times, a unchanged from the previous month.
And, the index of industrial production in Japan in September 2023 was a seasonally adjusted of 103.3 points (2020=100), a rose by 0.2 percent from the previous month. It rose for the first time in three months compared with the previous month.
And, according to the latest consumer confidence survey for Japan, which was announced on the same day, the consumer confidence index for October 2023 (survey target : households of two or more person) was a seasonally adjusted of 35.7 points, a rose by 0.5 points from the previous month. It rose for the first time in three months compared with the previous month.
Announced on the same day, the manufacturing PMI for China in October 2023 was 49.5 percent, a fell by 0.7 percentage points from the previous month. It fell for the first time in five months.
And, the S&P/Case-Shiller 20-City composite home price index for U.S. in August 2023 was 317.88 points, a rose by 2.15 percent from the same month a year earlier.
And the Conference Board consumer confidence index for U.S. in October 2023 was 102.6 points (1985=100), a fell by 1.7 points from the previous month.
