5月22日に発表された3月の機械受注の国内民需（船舶、電力会社を除く. 季節調整値）は前月比3.9％減少しました。 また、外需は前月比10.5％減少しました。
同日発表されたユーロ圏の5月の消費者信頼感指数はマイナス17.4ポイントとなり、前月比0.1ポイント上昇しました。

The machinery orders from domestic private-sector (excluding orders from ships and electric power companies. seasonally adjusted figures) in Japan in March 2023 , which was announced on May 22th 2023, decreased by 3.9 percent from the previous month. And the orders from overseas decreased by 10.5 percent from the previous month.
Announced on the same day, the consumer confidence indicator for Euro-area in May 2023 was minus 17.4 points, a rose by 0.1 points from the previous month.
