5月17日に発表された2023年1～3月期の季節調整済の実質GDPは前期比0.4％増加しました。 GDPの変化への寄与率を見ると、内需は0.7％、財とサービスの純輸出はマイナス0.3％でした。
同日発表されたユーロ圏の4月の消費者物価指数（HICP基準）は前年同月比7.0％上昇しました。 前月の6.9％の伸びから加速しました。
また、米国の4月の住宅着工戸数は季節調整済の年率で140万1000戸、前年同月比22.3％減少しました。

The seasonally adjusted real GDP of Japan in January-March of 2023, which was announced on May 17th 2023, rose by 0.4 percent from the previous quarter. Looking at contributions to changes in GDP, the domestic demand were 0.7 percent and the net exports of goods & services were minus 0.3 percent.
Announced on the same day, the consumer price index (by HICP) in Euro-area in April 2023 rose by 7.0 percent from the same month a year earlier. It accelerated from 6.9 percent growth of the previous month.
And the units of housing starts in U.S. in April 2023 were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1,401,000 units, a fell by 22.3 percent from the same month a year earlier.
