5月17日に公表された3月の第三次産業活動指数（2015年=100、季節調整済）は97.6、前月比2.3％上昇しました。
内訳を見ると、広義対個人向けサービスは96.3、2.3％増加（前月比）、広義対事業所向けサービスは99.5、0.1％減少（前月比）でした。
同日発表された米国の4月の小売売上高（外食含む。季節調整済、速報値）は前月比0.9％増加しました。 3月の1.4％から減速しました（改訂値）。
また、米国の4月の鉱工業生産指数（2017年=100）は105.6、前月から1.1％上昇しました。 5月の0.9パーセントから加速しました。

The index of tertiary industry activity for Japan in March 2022 (2015=100, seasonally adjusted), which was announced on May 17th 2022, was 97.6 points, a rose by 2.3 percent from the previous month.
Looking at the breakdown of it, the individual service industry was 96.3 points, a rose by 2.3 percent (MoM), and the business services industry was 99.5 points, a fell by 0.1 percent (MoM).
Announced on the same day, the retail sales value in US in April 2022 (including food services. seasonally adjusted, preliminary figures) rose by 0.9 percent from the previous month. It was slowed down from 1.4 percent of March 2022 (revised figures).
And the industrial production index for US in April 2022 (2017=100) was 105.6 points, a rose by 1.1 percent from the previous month. It accelerated from 0.9 percent of May 2022.
