2月17日に公表された12月の機械受注の民需（船舶および電力を除く。季節調整済）は、前月から3.6％増加しました。 3カ月連続の増加でした。 しかし、外需は3.5％減少（前月比）しました。
同日発表された米国の1月の住宅着工戸数（季節調整済、年率換算）は1,638千戸、前月比4.1％減少しました。

The machinery orders from domestic private-sector of Japan in December 2021 (excluding orders from ships and electric power companies. seasonally adjusted), which was announced on February 17th 2022, rose by 3.6 percent from the previous month. It increased for the 3rd month running. But, the orders from overseas fell by 3.5 percent (MoM).
Announced on the same day, the housing starts for US in January 2022 (seasonally adjusted annual rate) was 1,638 thousands of units, a fell by 4.1 percent from the previous month.
