9月8日、公表された8月の景気ウォッチャー調査によると、8月の現状判断DI（季節調整済）は43.9、前月比2.8上昇しました。 4カ月連続で上昇しました。
また、2020年8月の先行き判断DI（同上）は42.4、前月比6.4上昇しました。
同日発表された、米国の7月の消費者信用残高（速報値、季節調整済、年率換算）は、前月比3.6％上昇しました。
内訳を見ると、リボ払いは0.4％低下、非リボ払いは4.8％上昇しました。

According to the economy watchers survey of Japan in August 2020, which was announced on September 8th 2020, the DI for current economic conditions in August 2020 (seasonally adjusted) was 43.9 points, a rose by 2.8 points from the previous month. It rose for straight four months in row.
And, the DI for future economic conditions in August 2020 (same as above) was 42.4 points, a rose by 6.4 points from the previous month.
Announced on the same day, the consumer credit outstanding of US in July 2020 (preliminary value, seasonally adjusted, annual rate) rose by 3.6 percent from the previous month.
Looking at the breakdown, the revolving fell by 0.4 percent and the non-revolving rose by 4.8 percent.
