12月12日、公表された10月の機械受注(船舶・電力を除く民需)は前月比プラス7.6%となりました。
うち、製造業は前月比プラス12.3%、非製造業（除く船舶・電力）は前月比プラス4.5%でした。
今回の結果を、政府はネガティブに評価しました。
しかし、市場の評価は分かれると想像します。

10月の小売業販売額_The retail sales for Japan in October
11月29日、公表された10月の小売業販売額は、前年比プラス3.5％となりました。
今回、伸び率は高いとの印象を受けました。
内訳をみると、例えば、
燃料小売業が前年同月比14.7％の増加、
自動車小売業が前年同月比6.6％の増加、
各種商品小売業（百貨店など）が前年同月比マイナス1.6％
織物・衣服・身の回り品小売業が前年同月比マイナス0.4％
など
でした。

米国の10月の耐久財受注_The new orders for manufactured durable goods of US for October
11月21日、公表された米国の10月の耐久財受注(非国防資本財、航空機を除く、季節調整済)は前月比マイナス0.04％となりました。
また、国防資本財の新規受注(季節調整済)は前月比マイナス16.6％でした。

11月19日、公表された10月の貿易統計の主な結果は次の通りでした。
輸出 (FOB ベース) は前年比8.2％増加
輸入 (CIF ベース)は前年比19.9％増加
貿易収支はマイナス4493億円

11月12日、公表された10月の月次企業物価指数報告による主な結果は以下の通りです。
企業物価指数(速報値)は前月比プラス0.3％となりました。
輸出物価指数(円ベース、速報値)は前月比プラス0.6％となりました。
輸入物価指数(円ベース、速報値)は前月比プラス1.6％となりました。
今回、輸入物価指数が大きく上昇したのは、石油、石炭、天然ガスが最も寄与しました。

11月6日、公表された9月の家計調査によれば、収入(二人以上の世帯,名目)は前年比プラス2.3％、消費支出（二人以上の世帯,名目）は前年比プラス0.9％でした。
今回の結果をみると、家計の消費は慎重との印象です。

日銀 金融政策決定会合議事要旨＿Minutes of the Monetary Policy Meetings
11月5日、公表された日銀の金融政策決定会合議事要旨によれば、消費者物価（除く生鮮食品）の前年比は0％台後半だが、今後2％に上昇していくと考えているとしました。
今回の要旨を読む限り、当面、日銀は金融政策を継続する考えのように感じました。

11月1日、公表された米国の10月のISM製造業景気指数は57.7、前月比マイナス2.1ポイントとなりました。
今回の結果は、水準としては高い、しかし、前月比マイナスは2カ月連続、という印象でした。

10月31日、公表された9月の鉱工業生産指数(季節調整済)は、前月比マイナス1.1％となりました。
9月初旬時点の生産計画値から、マイナス3.4％の下方修正となりました。

10月24日、公表された米国のFRB地区連銀経済報告は、米国経済は緩やかな拡大が継続し、物価は緩やかに上昇していると、報告しました。
今回の報告から、FRBは、金融政策は従来通りの方針を続ける考えとの印象を受けました。
The beige book of FRB in the US, which was announced on October 24, reported that economic activity in the US is modest to moderate growth , and prices in the US continued to rise, growing at a modest to moderate pace.
Based on this report, I received the impression that FRB's monetary policy is to continue the conventional policy.

9月27日、公表された米国の8月の耐久財受注(航空機を除く非国防資本財)は前月比マイナス0.5％となりました。
うち、自動車及び同部品は前月比マイナス1.0％でした。

米国の9月のコンファレンス・ボード消費者信頼感指数＿ the US Conference Board consumer confidence index in September
9月25日、公表された米国の9月のコンファレンス・ボード消費者信頼感指数は138.4、前月比プラス3.7ポイントとなりました。
小職、最近の米中の関税問題は、米国内の消費にマイナスの影響があると推定していました。
しかし、今回の結果をみると、米国の消費者は大きなマイナスになるとは思っていないようです。
On September 25, the US Conference Board consumer confidence index in September was 138.4, 3.7 point raise month-on-month comparison.
I had estimated that the recent tariffs on the US and China will have a negative impact on US consumption.
However, looking at the results this time, perhaps, I assume that consumers in the U.S. will not think that recent tariff problem is a negative important problem.

9月20日、公表されたユーロ圏の9月の消費者信頼感指数(速報値、European Commission services調べ)はマイナス2.9ポイント、前月(マイナス1.0ポイント)から悪化しました。

9月19日、日本銀行は、金融政策の継続を決定しました。
黒田総裁は、現在の金融政策を、長期的に継続する考えにはない旨、併せて、米中の関税応酬に関するリスクは高まっているとの見方の旨などを会見で話しました。
単なる印象に過ぎませんが、仮に、リスクが顕在化した場合に、日銀の打ち手はどうか、と考えると、今回の発言の背景には楽観論があると感じました。

9月12日、公表された米国のFRBの地区連銀経済報告(ベージュブック)は、景気は緩やかなペースで拡大を続け、労働市場は堅調で人手不足気味で、輸入関税の上昇から建設コストや製造コストが上昇し、インフレ率は上昇圧力を受けているなどとしました。

9月5日、公表された米国の7月の貿易収支は501億ドルの赤字、赤字幅は前月比プラス9.5％となりました。前月比で輸出は減少、輸入は増加となりました。

9月4日、公表された米国の8月のISM製造業景気指数は61.3、前月比プラス3.2ポイントとなりました。今回の結果は強いとの印象で、NAFTAのメキシコとの交渉進展を好感しているのかも知れませんが、米中の関税問題の悪影響は大きくは感じませんでした。

8月28日、公表された米国の8月のコンファレンス・ボード消費者信頼感指数(1985年＝100)は133.4、前月比プラス5.5ポイントとなりました。
今回の結果からすると、米国消費者のセンチメントは強いとの印象を受けます。とすると、米国の中国に対する追加関税の動きやトランプ大統領周辺のスキャンダルなどは米国の消費者のセンチメントを悪化させる要因にはなっていないと感じます。

日本の6月の貿易統計
7月19日、公表された日本の6月の貿易統計によれば、輸出金額は前年比プラス6.7％、輸入金額は同プラス2.5％、差引、同プラス66.5％、7214億円の黒字となりました。

米国の住宅着工・許可件数
7月18日、公表された米国の6月の住宅着工件数(季節調整済、年率換算)は117万3千件、前年比マイナス4.2％となりました。
住宅着工許可件数(同)は127万3千件、前年比マイナス3.0％となりました。
2017年に、カナダが針葉樹材の輸出に補助金を支給し、米国で不当に安い価格で販売しているとして、米国は、カナダ産針葉樹材に、反ダンピング関税等を決定しました。市場では、このことが、米国内の住宅資材の値上がりと、新築住宅の価格上昇を惹起し、結果として、米国内の新築住宅市場に悪影響を与えているとの指摘があるようです。
住宅着工許可件数(同)は127万3千件、前年比マイナス3.0％となりました。

7月5日、公表された米国のFOMC議事録(6/12-13開催分)によれば、米国経済はすでに非常に強く、中期的には引き続き2％のインフレ率が続くと見込んでおり、政策金利の引き上げ継続の見方を共有するものの、米国の貿易政策に関連した不確実性に懸念がある旨の意見などが出ていることが明らかになりました。

2月13日、公表された日本の1月の国内企業物価指数は前月比プラス0.3％、前年比プラス2.7％となりました。
輸出物価指数は、契約通貨ベースで前月比プラス0.5％、円ベースで同マイナス0.4％、前年比プラス1.8％。
輸入物価指数は、契約通貨ベースで前月比プラス0.9％、円ベースで同マイナス0.4％、前年比プラス4.9％。

2月8日、公表された日本の1月の景気ウォッチャー調査によれば、現状判断DI(季節調整値)は49.9、前月差マイナス4.0ポイントとなりました。

米国の12月の個人所得・消費支出
1月29日、公表された米国の12月の個人所得は前月比プラス0.4％、個人消費支出は同プラス0.4％となりました。
貯蓄率は2.4％となりました。前月は2.5％でした。
PCE_Price indexは前年比プラス1.7％となりました。前月は同プラス1.8％でした。
インフレは高まっていないが、消費に向かったように見えます。米国の金利上昇を見越して、金利の低い今のうちに消費しようということなのか、今後の推移を見守りたいと思います。

1月のユーロ圏の総合PMI
1月24日、公表された1月のユーロ圏の総合PMI(出所：マークイット、速報値)は58.6、前月比プラス0.5ポイントとなりました。
今回の結果をみた印象に過ぎませんが、ユーロ圏の経済は堅調で、ECBの出口に向けた金融政策は進んでいくことを示唆しているように感じます。

日銀の金融政策
1月23日、日銀は、金融政策の継続を決定しました。
市場は、日銀が金融政策の正常化に向けたメッセージを期待し、注目を集めていました。
単なる印象に過ぎませんが、黒田総裁の会見からは、明確に示唆するようなメッセージは感じませんでした。

東京都心での積雪
1月22日、東京都心で21cmの積雪が観測されました。東京都心で20cm以上の積雪観測は2014年02月15日以来4年ぶりでした。
2014年当時、東京では2月に2回の大雪になるなどし、同時期、日本は天候による経済損失額が世界最大との推計があります(出所：ドイツ ミュンヘン再保険)。
なお、2014年02月15日は土曜で、週末の消費行動に影響しました。
今後、また大雪があるのか、曜日はいつか、など気になるところです。

1月18日、公表された米国の12月の住宅着工件数(季節調整済、年率換算)は119万2千戸、前月比マイナス8.2％となりました。
マイナス幅が最も大きかった地域は南部で同マイナス14.2％でした。12月は米国南東部などに大寒波となりました。
