According to the machinery classifications of the survey of Japan in August, which was announced on October 10, the total value of machinery orders (private-sector machinery orders, excluding ships and electric power companies, seasonally adjusted) increased by 6.8% from the previous month.
(Improvement)
Of that, the manufacturing industry increased by 6.6% from the previous month, and non-manufacturing industry (excluding ships and electric power companies) increased by 6.0% from the previous month.
