The total value of machinery new orders (private-sector machinery orders, excluding ships and electric power companies, seasonally adjusted) for Japan in October, which was announced on December 12, increased by 7.6% from the previous month.
Of that, the manufacturing industry increased by 12.3% from the previous month, and the non-manufacturing industry (excluding ships and electric power companies) increased by 4.5% from the previous month.
The government of Japan evaluated this results negatively.
However, I imagine that evaluation in market to this results will be divided.
