According to the economy watchers survey for Japan on October, which was announced on November 8, the D.I. for current economic conditions (seasonally adjusted) was 49.5 points, a increase of 0.9 points from the previous month.
Looking at breakdown, it was as follows.
Household activity-related D.I. was plus MoM.
Corporate activity-related D.I. was minus MoM.
Employment-related D.I. was minus MoM.
Looking at the result of this survey, I can expect that the year end shopping season will be stable.
