2月の景気動向一致指数、米国の2024年1～3月期の実質GDP、米国の3月の住宅販売保留指数＿The coincident index for business conditions in Japan in February 2024, the real GDP in U.S. in January-March quarter of 2024, the pending home sales index in U.S. in March 2024

4月25日に発表された2月の景気動向一致指数の改定値は111.6.1ポイント（2020年＝100）となり、4月5日発表の速報値より0.7ポイント上昇しました。

同日発表された米国の2024年1～3月期の実質GDP速報値は前期比年率1.6％増加しました。

また、米国の3月の住宅販売保留指数は前月比3.4％上昇しましたが、前年同月比では0.1％の微上昇となりました。

The revised figure of the coincident index for business conditions in Japan in February 2024, which was announced on April 25th 2024, was 111.6.1 points (2020=100), a rose by 0.7 points from the preliminary figures which was announced on April 5th.

Announced on the same day, the advance estimate of the real GDP in U.S. in January-March quarter of 2024 increased by at an annual rate of 1.6 percent from the previous quarter.

And the pending home sales index in U.S. in March 2024 rose by 3.4 percent from the previous month, but rose by 0.1 percent from the same month a year earlier slightly.

3月の企業向けサービス価格指数、ドイツの4月のIFO企業景況感指数、米国の3月の耐久財受注＿The services producer price index for Japan in March 2024, the ifo business climate index for Germany in April 2024, the durable goods orders in U.S. in March 2024

4月24日に発表された3月の企業向けサービス価格指数の速報値は111.1ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比0.8％上昇しました。 この月間上昇率は2022年3月の0.85％上昇以来の高水準となりました。

同日発表されたドイツの4月のIFO企業景況感指数は89.4ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比1.5ポイント上昇しました。2023年5月の91.4ポイント以来の高水準となりました。

また、米国の3月の航空機を除く非国防資本財の新規受注は季節調整済で738億ドルとなり、前月比0.2％増加しました。2カ月連続の上昇となりました。

The preliminary estimate of the services producer price index for Japan in March 2024, which was announced on April 24th 2024, was 111.1 points (2015=100), a rose by 0.8 percent from the previous month. This monthly growth rate was the highest level since 0.85 percent rose of March 2022. 

Announced on the same day, the ifo business climate index for Germany in April 2024 was 89.4 points (2015=100), a rose by 1.5 points from the previous month. It was the highest level since 91.4 points of May 2023. 

And, the new orders for nondefense capital goods excluding aircraft in U.S. in March 2024 was at a seasonally adjusted of US$73.8 billion, a rose by 0.2 percent from the previous month. It rose for two consecutive months.

米国の3月の新築住宅販売件数_The new houses sales in U.S. in March 2024

4月23日に発表された米国の3月の新築住宅販売件数は季節調整済み年率69万3千戸で、前月比8.9％増加しました。前月の5.0％下落から反転上昇しました。69万3千戸の内訳をみると、建設中が28万6千戸、竣工が32万4千戸で、竣工が建設中を上回りました。また、同期間中の販売価格の中央値は43万700米ドルで、前月の40万6500米ドルから上昇しました。

米国の3月の新築住宅販売市場は堅調ではあるものの、過熱しているわけではない可能性があると思います。

The new houses sales in U.S. in March 2024, which was announced on April 23rd 2024, were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 693,000 units, a rose by 8.9 percent from the previous month. It reversed and rose from 5.0 percent fall of the previous month. Looking at the breakdown of 693,000 units, the under construction was 286,000 units and the completed was 324,000 units, and the completed was more than the under construction. And the median sales price in same during period was US$430,700, a rose from US$406,500 of the previous month.

I think  there is a possibility that the market of new house sales in U.S. in March 2024 is solid but not overheating.

ユーロ圏の4月の消費者信頼感指数_The consumer confidence indicator for Euro-area in April 2024

4月22日に発表されたユーロ圏の4月の消費者信頼感指数の速報値はマイナス14.7ポイント（長期平均：2024年3月時点でマイナス10.6ポイント）となり、前月比0.2ポイント上昇しました。

The preliminary estimate of the consumer confidence indicator for Euro-area in April 2024, which was announced on April 22nd 2024, recorded minus 14.7 points (long term average : minus 10.6 points at March 2024), a rose by 0.2 points from the previous month.

2月の第三次産業活動指数、ユーロ圏の2月の経常収支_The index of tertiary industry activity in Japan in February 2024, the current account balance in Euro-area in February 2024

4月18日に発表された2月の第三次産業活動指数は、季節調整済で102.1ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比1.5％上昇しました。 内訳を見ると、個人向けサービスが1.1％上昇、事業所向けサービスが0.6％上昇しました。

同日発表されたユーロ圏の2月の経常収支は290億ユーロの黒字となり、前月比100億ユーロ減少しました。これはモノの貿易収支の黒字減少が影響したものと推定されます。

The index of tertiary industry activity in Japan in February 2024, which was announced on April 18th 2024, was a seasonally adjusted of 102.1 points (2015=100), a rose by 1.5 percent from the previous month. Looking at the breakdown of it, the personal services rose by 1.1 percent and the business service rose by 0.6 percent.  

Announced on the same day, the current account balance in Euro-area in February 2024 was a working day and seasonally adjusted of €29 billion surplus, a fell by €10 billion from the previous month. It is estimated that this was influenced by the surplus fall of trade balance for goods.
