4月23日に発表された米国の3月の新築住宅販売件数は季節調整済み年率69万3千戸で、前月比8.9％増加しました。前月の5.0％下落から反転上昇しました。69万3千戸の内訳をみると、建設中が28万6千戸、竣工が32万4千戸で、竣工が建設中を上回りました。また、同期間中の販売価格の中央値は43万700米ドルで、前月の40万6500米ドルから上昇しました。
米国の3月の新築住宅販売市場は堅調ではあるものの、過熱しているわけではない可能性があると思います。

The new houses sales in U.S. in March 2024, which was announced on April 23rd 2024, were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 693,000 units, a rose by 8.9 percent from the previous month. It reversed and rose from 5.0 percent fall of the previous month. Looking at the breakdown of 693,000 units, the under construction was 286,000 units and the completed was 324,000 units, and the completed was more than the under construction. And the median sales price in same during period was US$430,700, a rose from US$406,500 of the previous month.
I think there is a possibility that the market of new house sales in U.S. in March 2024 is solid but not overheating.
