10月7日に公表された最新の毎月勤労統計調査によると、2026年8月の1人当たりの現金給与総額の速報値は31万1千円となり、前年同月比で3.8%増加しました。
同日に公表された2026年7月の景気動向一致指数の速報値は118.7(2020年=100)となり、前月から1.9ポイント低下しました。最も寄与した要因は、鉱工業出荷指数でした。
同日、インド準備銀行は、流動性調整ファシリティ(LAF)に基づく政策レポ金利を25ベーシスポイント(bps)引き上げ、5.50%とすることを決定しました。
同日に公表されたドイツの2026年8月の季節・カレンダー調整済みの鉱工業生産指数は92.3(2021年=100)となり、前月から2.0%上昇しました。
同日に公表された2026年9月15日・16日開催のFOMCの議事要旨には、次のように記されています。「参加者は概して、インフレ率が高止まりする一方で、労働市場は完全雇用に近い状態にあり、一部に強含みの兆候が見られること、そして経済活動が堅調なペースで拡大していることを強調した。さらに、ほぼすべての参加者が、インフレのリスクは上振れする傾向にあるものの、労働市場に関するリスクは低下し、現在は概ね均衡していると評価した。」

According to the latest monthly labour survey for Japan, released on 7th October 2026, preliminary estimate of the total cash earnings before deducting income tax in August 2026 was JPY311 thousand per person, an increased by 3.8 percent from the same month a year earlier.
Preliminary estimate of the coincident index for business conditions for Japan in July 2026, released on the same day, was 118.7 points (2020=100), a decreased by 1.9 points from the previous month. The factor with the highest contribution was the index of producer's shipments.
On the same day, Reserve Bank of India decided to increase the policy repo rate under the liquidity adjustment facility (LAF) by 25 bps to 5.50 per cent.
The seasonally and calendar adjusted index of industrial production for Germany in August 2026, released on the same day, was 92.3 points (2021=100), a rose by 2.0 percent from the previous month.
Minutes of the Federal Open Market Committee, September 15-16, 2026, released on the same day, said "Participants generally emphasized that inflation remained elevated while the labor market appeared to be near full employment, with some signs of strengthening, and that economic activity was expanding at a solid pace. Furthermore, almost all participants assessed that, while inflation risks were tilted to the upside, risks to the labor market had diminished and were now broadly balanced. "
