7月7日に公表された最新の「毎月勤労統計調査」によると、2026年5月の1人当たりの現金給与総額の速報値は31万1千円となり、前年同月比で3.2％増加しました。この伸び率は、2026年6月19日に発表された2026年1月時点の年間インフレ率1.5％を上回りました。
同日に公表された最新の「家計調査」によると、2026年5月の世帯当たり実質消費支出（調査対象：二人以上の世帯）は、季節調整値で前月比3.7％の増加となりました。前月比での増加は2カ月連続です。
同日に公表された2026年5月の景気動向指数（一致指数）の速報値は118.5（2020年＝100）となり、前月から0.4ポイント上昇しました。
同日に公表されたドイツの2026年5月の季節・カレンダー調整済みの鉱工業生産は、前月比0.9％の増加となりました。ドイツ連邦統計局は、「2026年5月の生産の好調な推移は、主に自動車産業における生産拡大によるものである」と述べています。
同日に公表された米国の2026年5月の貿易収支は776億ドルの赤字となり、2026年4月の546億ドルの赤字から赤字幅が拡大しました。

According to the latest monthly labour survey for Japan, released on 7th July 2026, the preliminary estimate of total cash earnings before deducting income tax in May 2026 was JPY311 thousand per person, an increased by 3.2 percent from the same month a year earlier. This growth rate exceeded annual inflation rate of 1.5 percent in January 2026 which was announced on 19th June 2026.
According to the latest family income and expenditure survey in the Japan, released on the same day, the seasonally adjusted real consumption expenditure per household (survey target : two-or-more-person households) in May 2026 increased by 3.7 percent from the previous month. Compared with the previous month, it increased for two consecutive months.
Preliminary estimate of the coincident index for business conditions in the Japan in May 2026, released on the same day, was 118.5 points (2020=100), an increased by 0.4 points from the previous month.
The seasonally and calendar adjusted industrial production for Germany in May 2026, released on the same day, increased by 0.9 percent from the previous month. The Federal Statistical Office of Germany said "The positive development of production in May 2026 was primarily attributable to the growth observed in the automotive industry."
The trade balance of U.S. in May 2026, released on the same day, was US$77.6 billion deficit, up from US$54.6 billion deficit in April 2026.
