同日に発表された2026年2月の経常収支の速報値は3兆9300億円の黒字で、前年同月比0.005兆円の減少となりました。
同日に発表された最新の景気ウォッチャー調査によると、2026年3月の現状判断DIは季節調整済みで42.2となり、前月からマイナス6.7ポイントの大幅な低下となりました。2022年2月以来の最低水準でした。

同日に公表された2026年3月17日～18日に開催されたFOMCの議事要旨には、「委員は、経済見通しに対する不確実性が依然として高いことを認識した。中東情勢の展開が米国経済に及ぼす影響は不確実であると指摘した。委員は、委員会がその二重責務の両側におけるリスクに留意していることで一致した」と記されています。

According to the latest monthly labour survey for Japan, released on 8th April 2026, preliminary estimate of the total cash earnings before deducting income tax in February 2026 was JPY298 thousand per person, a rose by 3.3 percent from the same month a year earlier. This growth rate was above annual inflation rate of 1.3 percent in February 2026 which was announced on 24th March 2026.
Preliminary estimate of the current account balance of Japan in February 2026, released on the same day, was JPY3.93 trillion surplus, a decreased by JPY0.005 trillion from the same month a year earlier.
According to the latest economy watchers survey in the Japan, released on the same day, the DI for current economic conditions in March 2026 was 42.2 percent on a seasonally adjusted basis, a significant fell by 6.7 percentage points from the previous month. It was the lowest level since February 2022.
The current account balance of France in February 2026, released on the same day, was EUR1.8 billion deficit. It turned to negative from EUR 2.3 billion surplus in January 2026.
The industrial producer prices for euro area in February 2026, released on the same day, was 124.8 points (2021=100),a decreased by 0.7% from the previous month.
The seasonally adjusted index of retail trade volume for euro area in February 2026, released on the same day, was 103.8 points (2021=100), a decreased by 0.2% from the previous month. Compared with the previous month, it decreased for the first time since August 2025.
The minutes of the Federal Open Market Committee at 17th-18th March 2026, released on the same day, said "Members acknowledged that uncertainty about the economic outlook remained elevated. They noted that the implications of developments in the Middle East for the U.S. economy were uncertain. Members concurred that the Committee was attentive to the risks to both sides of its dual mandate."
