同日発表されたユーロ圏の5月の消費者物価指数（HICP）は前年同月比2.6％上昇しました。前月の2.4％上昇から加速しました。
同日発表された米国の5月の小売・外食売上高の速報値は、季節・休日・取引日調整済で7031億ドルで、前月比0.1％上昇しました。前月の0.2％下落から反転上昇しました。
同日発表された米国の5月の季節調整済の鉱工業生産指数は103.3ポイント（2017年＝100）となり、前月比0.4％上昇しました。2023年平均の102.6ポイントを今年初めて上回りました。

The ZEW indicator of economic sentiment for Germany in June 2024, which was announced on June 18th 2024, recorded plus 47.5 points, a rose by 0.4 points from the previous month.
The consumer price index (HICP) in the euro-area in May 2024, which was announced on the same day, rose by 2.6 percent from the same month a year earlier. It accelerated from 2.4 percent rose of the previous month.
The preliminary estimate for retail and food services sales value in the U.S. in May 2024, which was announced on the same day, recorded US$703.1 billion on a seasonally and holiday and trading-day adjusted basis, a rose by 0.1 percent from the previous month. It reversed and rose from 0.2 percent fall of the previous month.
The seasonally adjusted index of industrial production in the U.S. in May 2024, which was announced on the same day, recorded 103.3 points (2017=100), a rose by 0.4 percent from the previous month. It was above 102.6 points of CY2023 average for the first time this year.
