1月18日に発表された11月の機械受注の民需（船舶・電力を除く）は、季節調整済で前月比4.9％減少しました。前月の0.7％増加から減速しました。なお、外需は前月比2.5％増加しました。
同日発表されたユーロ圏の11月の経常収支は250億ユーロの黒字となり、前月比70億ユーロ減少しました。
また、米国の12月の住宅着工件数は季節調整済の年率で146万戸で、前月比4.3％減少しました。 ただ、前年同月比では7.6％上昇しました。

The machinery orders from domestic private-sector ( excluding orders from ships and electric power companies) in Japan in November 2023, which was announced on January 18th 2024, fell by a seasonally adjusted of 4.9 percent from the previous month. It slowed down from 0.7 percent growth of the previous month. And the orders from overseas rose by 2.5 percent from the previous month.
Announced on the same day, the current account balance for Euro-area in November 2023 recorded €25 billion surplus, a fell by €7 billion from the previous month.
And the housing starts in U.S. in December 2023 were a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1.46million of units, a fell by 4.3 percent from the previous month. But it rose by 7.6 percent from the same month a year earlier.
