7月18日に発表された5月の第3次産業活動指数は季節調整値で102.0（2015年＝100）となり、前月比1.2％上昇しました。2カ月連続の上昇となりました。
同日発表された米国の6月の小売売上高は季節調整値で前月比0.2％増加しました。
また、米国の6月の鉱工業生産は季節調整値で前月比0.5％減少しました。2か月連続の減少となりました。

The index of tertiary industry activity in Japan in May 2023, which was announced on July 18th 2023, was seasonally adjusted score of 102.0 points (2015=100), a rose by 1.2 percent from the previous month. It rose for two consecutive months.
Announced on the same day, the retail and food services sales in U.S. in June 2023 rose by a seasonally adjusted rate of 0.2 percent from the previous month.
And, the industrial production in U.S. in June 2023 fell by a seasonally adjusted rate of 0.5 percent from the previous month. It fell for two consecutive months.
