The machinery orders for Japan in October (private-sector, excluding orders for ships and orders from the electric power companies, seasonally adjusted), which was announced on December 12th, fell by 6.0% from the previous month.
Looking at the breakdown, the manufacturing industry fell by 1.5% (MoM), and the non-manufacturing industry (excluding orders for ships and orders from the electric power companies) fell by 5.4% (MoM).
