4月9日に発表された最新の消費動向調査によると、2025年3月の消費者態度指数（調査対象：二人以上の世帯）は季節調整済で34.1ポイントとなり、前月比0.7ポイントの低下となりました。前月比で4カ月連続の低下となりました。
同日、インド準備銀行は、政策金利のレポ金利を、大方の予想通り、25ベーシスポイント引き下げ、6％とすることを決定しました。
同日発表された米国の卸売取引報告によると、2025年2月の季節調整済みの卸売売上高は6,964億ドルで、前月比2.4％増加しました。2025年1月の0.9％減から反転し、増加に転じました。

According to the latest consumer confidence survey for Japan, which was announced on 9th April 2025, the consumer confidence index for March 2025 (survey target : households of two or more person) was 34.1 points on a seasonally adjusted basis, a fell by 0.7 points on the previous month. Compared with the previous month, it fell for four consecutive months.
On the same day, the Reserve Bank of India decided to cut the policy repo rate by 25 basis points to 6 percent as largely expected.
According to the monthly wholesale trade report for U.S. , which was announced on the same day, the seasonally adjusted wholesale sales in February 2025 was US$696.4 billion, an increased by 2.4 percent from the previous month. It reversed and increased from 0.9 percent fall in January 2025.
