4月18日に発表された2025年3月の全国の消費者物価指数は111.1ポイント（2020年＝100）で、前年同月比3.6%上昇しました。また、3月28日に発表された2025年3月の東京都区部の消費者物価指数は110.1ポイントで、前年同月比2.9%上昇しました。
東京都区部の年間インフレ率が全国平均よりも低いのは、一つの可能性として小売市場の熾烈な競争によるものと推定します。

The consumer price index for Japan in March 2025, which was announced on 18th April 2025, was 111.1 points (2020=100), a rose by 3.6 percent from the same month a year earlier. And in the case of urban area in Tokyo in March 2025 which was announced on 28th March 2025, the consumer price index was 110.1 points, a rose by 2.9 percent from the same month a year earlier.
The annual inflation rate for urban area in Tokyo was lower than index of targeting the whole country because I assumed that due to tough competition of retail market as one possibility.
