9月18日に発表された7月の機械受注の民需（船舶・電力を除く）は、季節調整済で前月比0.1％減の8,740億円となりました。この値は、前月に引き続き、2023年度月平均を上回りましたが、2022年度月平均を下回りました。
同日発表された8月の貿易収支は、季節調整済で5,950億円の赤字となり、前月比12.0％減となりました。輸出、輸入ともに前月比で減少しました。
同日発表されたユーロ圏の8月のHICPによる消費者物価指数は、季節調整済で126.72ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比0.1％上昇しました。

The machinery orders from domestic private-sector ( excluding orders from ships and electric power companies) in the Japan in July 2024, which was announced on September 18th 2024, recorded a seasonally adjusted of JPY874 billion, a fell by 0.1 percent from the previous month. This value was more than FY2023 monthly average but less than FY2022 monthly average continued from the last month.
The trade balance of Japan in August 2024, which was announced on the same day, was JPY595 billion deficit on a seasonally adjusted basis, a fell by 12.0 percent from the previous month. And both exports and imports fell compared with the previous month.
The consumer price index by HICP for euro area in August 2024, which was announced on the same day, was 126.72 points (2015=100) on a seasonally adjusted basis, a rose by 0.1 percent from the previous month.
