8月8日に発表された6月の経常収支は1.53兆円の黒字で、前年同月比0.01兆円の増加となりました。前年同月と比べると、第一次所得収支は0.20兆円減少しましたが、貿易・サービス収支は0.21兆円増加しました。
同日発表された最新の景気ウォッチャー調査によると、7月の景気の現状判断DIは季節調整済で47.5となり、前月比0.5ポイント上昇しました。依然50％を下回っていますが、2カ月連続で上昇しました。
同日、インドの中央銀行であるインド準備銀行は政策金利を6.50％に据え置くことを決定しました。
同日発表された米国の6月の月次卸売取引報告によると、前月と比較して卸売売上高は0.6％減少しましたが、卸売在庫は0.2％増加しました。

The current account balance of Japan in June 2024, which was announced on August 8th 2024, was JPY1.53 trillion surplus, a increased of JPY0.01 trillion from the same month a year earlier. Compared with the same month a year earlier, the balance of primary income decreased of JPY0.20 trillion but the trade balance of goods and services increased of JPY0.21 trillion.
According to the latest economy watchers survey for Japan, which was announced on the same day, the DI for current economic conditions in July 2024 recorded 47.5 percent on a seasonally adjusted basis, a rose by 0.5 percentage points from the previous month. It was below 50 percent still, but it rose for two consecutive months.
On the same day, India's Central Bank, the Reserve Bank of India, decided to keep the policy repo rate unchanged at 6.50 percent.
According to the monthly wholesale trade report in the U.S. in June 2024, which was announced on the same day, compared with the previous month, the wholesale sales fell by 0.6 percent but the wholesale inventories rose by 0.2 percent.
