7月16日に発表された4月の第3次産業活動指数は、季節調整済みで101.9ポイント（2015年＝100）となり、前月比1.9％低下しました。2か月ぶりの低下となりました。
同日発表されたドイツの7月のZEW企業景況感指数は41.8ポイントとなり、前月比5.7ポイント低下しました。
同日発表されたユーロ圏の5月の貿易収支の速報値は139億ユーロの黒字となりました。前年同月比では輸出が0.5％減少、輸入が6.4％減少となりました。
同日発表された米国の6月の小売・外食の季節、休日・営業日の差異調整後の売上高は7,040億ドルで、前月と横ばいでした。

The index of tertiary industry activity in Japan in May 2024, which was announced on July 16th 2024, was 101.6 points (2015=100) on a seasonally adjusted basis, a fell by 0.4 percent from the previous month. It fell for the first time in two months.
The ZEW indicator of economic sentiment for Germany in July 2024, which was announced on the same day, recorded 41.8 points, a fell by 5.7 points from the previous month.
The preliminary estimate for trade balance of euro area in May 2024, which was announced on the same day, was €13.9 billion surplus. Compared with the same month a year earlier, the exports decreased by 0.5 percent and the imports decreased by 6.4 percent.
The seasonal variation and holiday and trading-day differences adjusted sales for retail and food services in the U.S. in June 2024, which was announced on the same day, recorded US$704 billion and it unchanged from the previous month.
