同日、欧州中央銀行は大方の予想通り政策金利を25ベーシスポイント引き下げることを決定しました。
同日発表された米国の4月の貿易収支は、季節調整済で746億ドルの赤字となり、3月の改訂値686億ドルから8.7％増加しました。2024年3月と比較すると、輸出は0.8％増加し、輸入は2.4％増加しました。

The seasonally adjusted retail trade volume in the Euro area in April 2024, which was announced on June 6th 2024, decreased by 0.5% compared with the previous month.
On the same day, the European Central Bank decided to lowered policy interest rate by 25 basis points as predicted.
The trade balance of U.S. in April 2024, which was announced on the same day, was US$74.6 billion deficit on a seasonally adjusted basis, a rose by 8.7 percent from $68.6 billion in March 2024, revised. Compared with March 2024, the exports rose by 0.8 percent, and the imports rose by 2.4 percent.
