1月14日に発表された最新の景気ウォッチャー調査によると、2024年12月の現状判断DIは季節調整済で49.9となり、前月比0.5ポイント上昇しました。2カ月連続の低下の後、2カ月連続の上昇となりました。
同日発表された2024年11月の経常収支は3.35兆円の黒字となり、前年同月比1.18兆円増加しました。前年同月と比べると、財・サービス貿易収支と第一次所得は増加しましたが、第二次所得は減少しました。
同日発表された米国の2024年12月の生産者物価指数は前月比0.2％上昇し、2024年11月の0.4％上昇から鈍化しました。内訳をみると、最終需要財は0.6％上昇しましたが、最終需要サービスは横ばいでした。

According to the latest economy watchers survey in the Japan, which was announced on January 14th 2025, the DI for current economic conditions in December 2024 recorded 49.9 percent on a seasonally adjusted basis, a rose by 0.5 percentage points on the previous month. It rose for two months in a row after two consecutive months of decline.
The current account balance of Japan in November 2024, which was announced on the same day, was JPY3.35 trillion surplus, a increased by JPY1.18 trillion on the same month a year earlier. Compared with the same month a year earlier, the trade balance for goods and services and the primary income increased but the secondary income decreased.
The producer price index for U.S. in December 2024, which was announced on the same day, compared with the previous month, rose by 0.2 percent and it slowed down from 0.4 percent rose and it slowed down from 0.4 percent rose in November 2024. Looking at the breakdown of it, the prices for final demand goods rose by 0.6 percent but it for final demand services were unchanged.
